Restaurant: Ordered shrimp tempura for 600 bucks, order was served not with the usual tempura sauce but with toyo and calamansi sauce. The actual tempura still included the shrimp head and shell. Not very delightful! After complaining to the staff, I requested to talk to the chef. Chef was very apologetic and stated that another staff cooked the supposed tempura and not him. Order was replaced but damage has been done. And yeah, they don't have chopsticks either! Hotel: Reservation was done by my colleague, it was acknowledged by the staff or whoever was using their company phone at the time. Upon checking in, FO says that there wasn't any reservation under my name. Took the available room anyway. Room is subpar for the price range, no table. Toiletries were missing and had to request from the staff. Table request (for laptop) was granted eventually.

Nice place to stay @ Vigan City, Ilocos Sur Budgeted rate as we get the La Jenns Annex hotel besides the main. Its like a old house renovated in partition as hotel or dormatel. You will feel like isolated. Nice room even very tight and small for 2 persons, if breakfast 150 additional per person. With carpark, cctv, wifi, cable tv, bidet in cr, shampoo and soap. Noisy aircon and narrow stairs. No security and cctv in place. It like anybody can get in. Faucet release rust and to much stack of waste inside cause clog. With hot shower. no complimentary drinks and with 200 pesos accidental fee and could get upon check out. As we need a place to stay, and budgetted what can you expect. Then its all ok, but if your looking for other try some within the area around.

If you're here to unwind, then this is the place to be. They have daily band acoustics ( sounds great) though ends around 10pm.

Terrible customer service from the owner herself, Jennifer Pati. My son got an electric shock from the shower heater and we got transferred to another room with a broken entrance door lock but opted to stay for the night since we checked in 10 pm, really tired. Next morning, we were able to talk to Jen, the owner, and she said that they will transfer us back to another room. Because of the electric shock and the several transfer, i told her that we will just look for another hotel due to all inconvenience they caused, but she doesn't want to refund the remaining downpayment and even started raising her voice. It was a long argument, she was not even apologetic of what happened and started yelling at us in front of all the customers. She doesn't want to listen and would constantly interupt us or turn her back on us while talking. She even made a comment that it was just a ground (electric shock) making it sound like it is not big deal!||We opted to stay for one more night to consume the remaining downpayment but had to pay extra charges so we can keep the same room and not worry about transferring and repacking all our stuff. Next day upon checkout, the frontdesk officer doesn't even know we made a downpayment and was asking us to pay the entire amount. We made a payment thru the owner's gcash account and it wasn't even in the system! When the staff was able to verify, i asked for a breakdown of the fees and there was a food charge that we didn't order. Sneaky way to get more money from us huh. I had to dispute again and it was eventually removed from our bill. ||||As for the rooms, as i have mentioned, first room has an electric shock in the shower heater. Second room's door locks are all broken, both for the entrance lock and the toilet lock. They were not able to fix it so we had to call one of the staff everytime we want to enter the room. No toiletries given so we just opted to buy since we somehow felt it was already intentional on their part because of the scene with the owner. Lots of watermarks in their shower and toilet. There were few stains and holes on their bed sheets and blankets. Gave us free breakfast on our second day but the beef tapa is very chewy and cant be swallowed.||It was a week long vacation and good thing we were still able to enjoy the rest of our trip after all the stress and inconvenience this...

First off, I am not a fan of old style hotels and so I chose to stay here instead of staying inside Vigan City. This hotel is a stone throw away from the Bell Tower, and a few hundred meters away from Vigan City. ||The hotel is nicely renovated and though the rooms are small, the interior design and ambiance make up for the space. ||The room has no table, chair, nor fridge. The only thing inside is a 5ft tall cabinet, a small flat screen TV, and a double sized bed. The toilet is so nice that if not for the cramped space, it would pass as a luxury hotel's toilet. Overall, the hotel rooms feels like Victoria & Sogo Motel but a better version of it.||The rooms are not as sound proof as I would like it to be as I can hear my neighboring room doing something sexy at night. Perhaps the management should do something about the soundproofing of the rooms for the sake of privacy||Had a great stay, even the breakfast was great too! Love the views from the penthouse! Dining area was hot though, no aircons provided and no air was coming in...was sweating while...
