Disappointing Experience at Kusina Felicitas! We had high hopes for our meal, but unfortunately, our visit turned into a complete disappointment due to a major hygiene issue and overall poor service. The biggest concern was the Adobo Pusit. While it looked appetizing upon arrival—nicely plated with kangkong and chili—once we cut it open, we discovered it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The squid still had remnants of the ink sac and intestines, which was incredibly off-putting and raised serious food safety concerns. The interior has an old-school charm, with terrazzo floors, wood beams, and bronze pots hanging from the ceiling. However, the smell from the kitchen mixed with air conditioning didn’t help the ambiance. One redeeming feature was a lovely painting on the wall. Service was another weak point. The waitstaff jotted down our order as we listed dishes, but when we asked for a recap, there were double the items we had actually ordered. This level of disorganization was frustrating. To make matters worse, the house special—bisque—was recommended to us, only for us to be told it was out of stock. Why suggest it in the first place? Additional details like plates being placed face down directly on the wooden table mats felt unhygienic, and further undermined our confidence in the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. On a positive note, the Adobo Sabunganay—banana blossom cooked in soy sauce, garlic, and onions—was well-prepared and enjoyable. The rice portion served was generous and could easily feed two. In the end, they did remove the Adobo Pusit from the bill, but the damage was done. It completely ruined our meal, and we left feeling uneasy, now concerned about possible food poisoning. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Kusina felicitas has indeen a very cozy and historical ambiance. It showcase antiques and old coin and money collections. However, contrast to their unique and classy design the service of the staff leaves nothing to be desired. They are unprofessional and failed to accomplish a simple task of accomodating people with courtesy and kindness. To be honest we did not dine in the resto due to this. For me no matter how good the food is if the people facing your customers are untrained and unprofessional the customers will not taste the food.

This is a restaurant right beside Cafe Uno in Vigan. It has that old but gold vibe and their menu is nothing but the best of legit Ilocano cuisines. I particular loved their okoy - so crispy and tasty! You can also order from the menu of Cafe Uno and dine in this restaurant. The prices are reasonable, it was just unfortunate that they've ran out of the dishes that we wanted to order when we visited but we were satisfied with the dinakdakan bagnet, waffles and sausage, oatmeal raisin cookies, okoy and refreshments.

If you’re looking for an authentic Ilocano dining experience in Vigan, Kusina Felicitas is the place to be! The restaurant offers a warm, rustic ambiance that perfectly complements its rich and flavorful dishes.

We started with the Inurno nga Tahong, a delightful baked mussel dish bursting with umami flavors. The Poqui Poqui Balls were a unique twist on the classic Ilocano eggplant dish—crispy on the outside yet creamy inside. The Okoy was perfectly crunchy and paired well with their vinegar dip.

For mains, we enjoyed the Pinakbet with Bagnet, a must-try for anyone who loves the combination of crisp, deep-fried pork and fresh vegetables cooked in a rich, flavorful sauce. The Dinengdeng with Fried Tilapia had a comforting, home-cooked taste, while the Igado, a savory pork and liver stew, was well-seasoned and satisfying.

Seafood lovers will appreciate the Lapu Lapu, cooked to perfection with delicate flavors. The Tamatis Longganisa ken Keso was a delicious medley of fresh tomatoes, Vigan longganisa, and cheese—simple yet packed with flavor. Lastly, the Fried Pork Intestines were crispy and well-seasoned, a great choice for those who enjoy bold and rich textures.

Overall, Kusina Felicitas delivers on both taste and authenticity. Whether you’re a local or a traveler exploring Vigan, this spot is definitely...

We enjoyed some of the food, but unfortunately, the service fell short of our expectations. In a business like this, we believe that genuine hospitality from the staff is just as important—if not more so—than the food itself. Personally, I had hoped for a warm, homey atmosphere that reflects the traditional Ilocano way of welcoming guests. Sadly, that wasn’t the case during our visit.

First, the waiting staff came across as sarcastic and lacked basic courtesy. For example, when I politely asked how much the rice costs per serving, the response I received was, "May price po dyan, Sir," which felt dismissive and unhelpful.

Second, after taking all our orders, the staff came back only to inform us that several items on the menu were unavailable. This didn’t just happen once—it happened twice. It was both confusing and frustrating.

Third, the waiting time was excessively long. We were told that the standard wait time was 15–20 minutes, but it took nearly an hour before any food started arriving.

We hope this feedback helps improve the service for future customers, as your food does have potential—but good food should be matched with warm, attentive...
