District Inn — Hotel in Makati

The hotel staff is very nice and helpful, and I loved the neighbourhood. They also provide free drinking water, a fridge and a microwave oven - these are the positives. And while these are all nice things and important, I would rather have a very good and comfortable room without the above mentioned positives than the other way round.

To me, the room felt like a prison cell: a tiny space with no window, very stuffy air, an awfully noisy aircon even if you are not using yours, you will hear the other aircons from your neighbours. The bed has no real mattress but some foam, which makes it very uncomfortable. I accidentally saw quite a few of the other rooms, all of them look the same, so don't hope for anything better. I was looking forward to the end of my 4 night stay, to be honest.

Their WiFi is useless. They said that it's 50 Mbps and up but it's not. Nonetheless, the staff are accommodating. I believe they should somehow put some guidelines on guests. I have an experience where I was awakened around 4:00am to 4:30am because of a drunk guest (guy) who intentionally shouted in front of my closed door. I think they went from one of the bars in BGC that has made them drunk. Based on what I heard, there are 3 of them. I heard 3 voices that time. Two female voices and one male voice who shouted in front of my door. Those guests should be fined and should be banned in this place because they are inconsiderate of other guests. The place is just enough for any travel wanting to be a walk away from BGC. The rooms are enough for all you need as well. This has been my go to inn in the Metro since I work in BGC near 4th St. The rooms are coz, has a reliable internet, sink, hot/cold shower, work area, ref, microwave, tv and night lights. Though I don't expect much on the TV, from what I expect, it is usable. The place is near a few carenderia with silogan which is enough for me as I love them.
