situated in Diniwid street 300 meters from the beach and 300 meters from the main road, it is a 3 floor studios multibuilging with nice stairways full of tropical flowers at the entrance. Going to the lobby there is a swimming pool in the middle of the building where you can take a dive or just relax. || Studios are fully equiped air con, fan, hot water, private bathroom inside room, kitchen fully equiped, private balcony, safe box, cable tv, wifi if you pay for long terms. Peaceful environment with very friendly and willing to assist you staff especially this year after Margie is managing the place.|| There is also a roof garden where you can lay back at sunset and enjoy the view of the jungle around you in a cosy and relaxing sofa setting enjoying your drinks or dinner.|| The owners are always there so whatever you need you will be able to solve it anytime anyday, they are good people that slowly slowly every year they add something more in their business making Boracay Studios a western standard place to stay but still getting the touch of Philippines life.|| I have been stayed there 4 times for one month each time, 2011,-12,-13,-14 and all the times i had a great time. This February the place was looking even better from little touches like flowers everywhere, renewed colour paint, nice decoration touches inside room, even a mini-large bar at the lobby where you can have at any time of the day-night everything you need like water snacks juices etc....Margie is giving her personal touches in Boracay Studios and as i see it ''Go go go Margie''.....ps..dont forget my big mirror next year...hehehehe...|| I would highly recommend the place ||for families||singles||all good...
Read moreI booked 4 nights here in February of 2014. Boracay Studios is an enclosure of small studio apartments located at what seems the furthest point of Boracay. Probably a bit far for the average traveler- But before you write this place off. Boracay Studios is a hidden gem for the solo traveler, backpacker, or couple traveling on a budget. From the main street you have to walk up a long stairway to reach the entrance where the units are. Here you'll find the host in his office, he is very friendly gentleman who was accommodating to all our needs, and he offers bookings to the various activities available in Boracay for a fee. As far as our room, it was far from being luxurious and on a scale of 1 to 5 it was a 2 but as I found out that it depends on the unit you book. There is no safe inside the room but the owner keeps a safe deposit box at front office if your concerned for valuables. You'll will find the beach at the bottom of the road about a 400 meter walk downhill. The beach called Diniwig feels secluded making you feel like your a local. There are just a few open bars at the foot of this beach making a very Romantic setting during happy hour. If you explore this area you will find the best kept secret, a hidden walkway along the beach, a pleasant 15 minute walk where the water meets the cliffs that takes you right into heart of the most desired beach of Boracay -Zone 3. That alone was worth...
Read more5 min walk from Diniwid beach, which has much less people than the main station. Great if you just want to sit or swim and not do extreme activities every day. Really nice walk to Station 1 along this rocky path where the sea meets the cliffs. If you don't want to walk, you can charter a tricycle for 100-150 pesos one way or share for about 20 pesos/person. There is generally no difficulty getting a tricycle from the road outside Boracay Studios except late at night, and absolutely no problem getting there from anywhere else/main stations (all tricycle drivers seem to recognize it). I did have to wait almost 10 minutes at 11pm for a tricycle (was trying to get to dmall for late night ice cream), but I felt safe. It was a little dark though.||||Wifi works most of the time, which is great for Boracay, relatively speaking (it's generally poor elsewhere), and you can get it in your room if you pay. I had been frustrated in other hotels because you can't get wifi even if you are willing to pay, or the advertised wifi in lobby never works. No problem here.||||View at the roof is decent, but there is no lift. Nice to go up especially in good weather, gentle sea breeze. Rooms are clean, with aircon, sink, kitchen, depending on which room you get. There is also a small wading pool inside that looks clean, although I never used it. You're near a great beach anyway! ||||Really enjoyed my stay, great if you're...
