The Strand is a wonderful, small hotel...it is located in a local neighborhood about a 2-3 minute walk to the beach....the staff are fantastic..... they are kind, warm, helpful and make you feel quite welcome.....the breakfast is delicious as well as all of their food in the lovely dining area....the grounds are very tropical....we even spied monkeys on the trees outside of our giant one bedroom suite....the balcony is huge with a couch, table, two chairs and a drying rack....the living/kitchen is larger than most hotel rooms....I was promised that microwaves and dishes are on their way...the bedroom is also large with a separate shower and toilet room.....all of the hotel is spotless....the pool and covered area next to the pool could use a little sprucing up....also service at the pool would be great....although they may do it and I missed it....yes, you can hear roosters and dogs during the day, but it certainly wasn't an issue at night....the resort is small and super quiet.... just what we wanted.... the only negative is their tuk tuk service to D Mall....it should be daily, later than 6:00PM and round trip... I would return in a heartbeat if I ever visiting to Boracay again...it felt like home...thanks again the the ultimate hotel staff......

Beautiful little hotel at the north end of station 1 in Boracay. White beach is a 2 minute walk, diniwid beach is 5 minutes from the hotel. The night-life district in station 2 and 3 is a 20 minute walk, but you can always easily order a trike. The hotel itself is a row of old-style two-story houses along a very large and green garden area. There is a small pool, facilities for getting a massage and a kitchen for all day dining and room service. Breakfast is served evey day in a restaurant area next to the pool. The food is actually quite good, i recommend testing a few of the items on their menu. The rooms are very spacious, well ventilated and air conditioned. The area around the hotel is very quiet, so it is easy to get a good nights sleep. The staff is super friendly and will help you with literally anything. Only downside is the poorly illuminated 150m footway between the hotel and white beach, that might be a bit unsettling at night. Also the road to the hotel is narrow and under construction. In summary i really enjoyed my stay at The Strand and can fully recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and upscale accomodation away from the buzz and noice of the party...

We just spent 10 nights at The Strand Boutique Hotel in Boracay with our 2 young children. What a wonderful place to stay! We felt so looked after. Beautiful location of station 1 - a 1 minute walk to the Silica sands of white beach, walking through the friendly neighbourhood. |We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was so comfortable and newly renovated- it was perfect for my husband and I, our 2 and 5 year olds and my mum. So spacious and beautiful. |The restaurant - we looked forward to visiting the restaurant every day, so relaxing and the staff were so wonderful! Chef Ton was amazing preparing the freshest flavourful food! Once he realised I loved eating the local food there was a new Filipino soup each morning- amazing!|Nothing was too much! Our children adored all the staff and the staff were so thrilled to see them all the time. |We had just the most magical holiday - we don’t like the mega touristy aspect of Boracay at station 2 and 3 and this sheltered us from that circus! We love coming to Boracay island so much and there’s so much peace and beauty to be found!|Thank you so much to everyone at The Strand....

Staying here for 6 days and 5 nights felt like finding a secret sanctuary in the heart of paradise. It is true—it’s a bit far from the center and the usual busy Boracay scene, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes this place so special. Every morning, I woke up surrounded by trees, wooden details, and the calming quiet of nature. It was the kind of reset and restart my soul was craving. The staff? Absolutely amazing. Warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind—you’ll feel like you’re being welcomed into a family home, not just a resort. There’s a deep sense of comfort and care here that you rarely find. And yes, it’s really just a 2-minute walk to the beach—I counted. It’s tucked away from the crowds but so close to the peaceful charm of Diniwid Beach. Definitely a gem. The only thing I was a bit sad about was the pool being under renovation my whole stay. But even without it, this place still gets a full 100% from me. No doubts—I’m coming back. And yes, I’m telling everyone about it. I won’t gatekeep this hidden paradise. Everyone deserves to know it exists.

The hotel is near by the white beach, Station 1. It's a more quite place to stay for vacation, to relax and also have quick access to the white beach. Diniwig beach is also very near by the Hotel, a little bit hidden, but you can go there by going to the right, it's a smaller beach, enjoyable. The hotel itself and the suites are very affordable, pricing is good. The staff is very welcoming and kind. Wishes like to get fresh mango from a tree in the hotel, they don't mind and pick you some of these. Suites are spacious, clean, are simple designed and comfortable. Well cooked dishes by room service is really delicious, you can have a try, it's worth it. Breakfast needs more variety. Not a lot to choose, we had tasty bread or rice. Some corned beef and eggs and fruits to choose of. If you plan to travel around the island, just order a E-Tricycle and they will you bring for 100-200 pesos to most of the places. Want to stay in a hotel more different than the others in a more quite area near Station 1, this is the right one

The Strand was an excellent place to stay, peaceful, charming, and just a short walk from White Beach. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier hotels, which made it feel like a private retreat while still being close to everything. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Rob, who was especially attentive, she remembered our names and always took the time to chat, which made our stay feel even more personal. The resort itself is quite unique compared to other hotels on the island. It’s located away from the main road, near a cemetery, which honestly wasn’t an issue for us at all. E-trikes had no problem dropping us right at the entrance. We would definitely recommend The Strand, it’s affordable, peaceful, and perfectly placed in a local area for easy access to the beach without being in the middle of the crowds.
