Location: easy to spot, just in front of Century Park Hotel. Kind of away from cheap options for food like fastfood or cheaper dine-in options while some 7/11s are a few blocks away. (3/5) Interior/Exterior: definitely a product of artdeco architecture. Some of its interiors especially the hallways, reception and restos retained the classic atmosphere such as furnitures, tiles, ceilings, lighting etc. Exteriors are fully scaed with plants and trees which is a plus for the exteriors. (4/5) Booking: easily booked for reservation on their website. All things mentioned on the rooms may not be working properly on-site. Had a very early booking for a twin room, unfortunately, upon checking-in, we were told that only queen size bed for the twin room is the only option left due to the 'fully-booked' policy. There should be an option of queen-size bed or 2 twin-size bed room on the booking website. (1/5) Amenities: Has only few options to go around the hotel such as the mini-swimming pool, resto & cafe. Unfortunately, the roof garden is reserved for penthouse room guests only. Free breakfast is great, not a lot of options but just right to make you full in the morning. (3/5) Service: frontdesk are accomodating, however, they may forget about you after making you wait. They tend to your request but of course, not all but, everything may come at a price. Employees greets you everytime. (3.7/5) Room: thoroughly cleaned and air conditioned. Everything worked except the TV, wifi is too slow and sometimes might not work at all. Only 1 chair provided for a 2-person room. Safe is available but rentable (not mentioned at the website). Toilets and baath works just fine. View is excellent (we stayed at the last floor), unfortunately a balcony would have been better, not just a wide picture window. AC is too noisy. (3/5) Overall: not a cheap option for hotels in Pasay, but, not sure if coming back after the denial of request to have a twin-bed room (2-bed). Take note not all 2-person booking are partners, some may just be acquaintances or travel buddies. (3/5)

I don’t mean to bash but just like to share my experience with this hotel… though are stay is just fine, there is also room for improvement… 1. when we came our grand suite room, the ac on the living room is too noisy to the extent you can not hear what you are watching BUT, their engineering staff were quick to replace it within an hour 2. Their internet connection is sooo slow during (dito nastress na ko for my kids)… kc nde makakonek sa youtube and mobile data doesn’t work as well… that was during 2pm till 12mn during our stay pero paggising namin ng 6am naging ok nmn kahit 5 gadgets are connected simultaneously. 3. The TV in our room is not a smart tv BUT it has cable with 265 channels and they do not have a print-out of channels so I have to scan and list it down my favorites for my easy reference and access. 4. Their pool isn’t kid friendly.. it is 3ft to 6ft and no lifeguards…plus ung towel n binigay sa amin dun eh mejo putim na at me butas na ung isa😔 Btw, the pool water isn’t that clear and when I asked the staff if it is clean, they said it is clean. (pls refer to pics attached and other guest's reviews) 5. Their buffet breakfast is ok with live cooking station for egg and pancakes. btw, maalat po ung tapa nung araw na kumain kami 🙊. And hope Cafe Alicia will have a printout of their menu in every room kc ang hirap umorder sa room kung nde mo alam kung anong meron sila ng nde ka bumababa physically sa cafe nila. 6. They are charging 50pesos per pillow if u asked for an extra one… 🌟🌟🌟 Last but not the least, salute to those staff who have done an extra mile for us when my daughter suddenly had her monthly period during wee hours and we asked for a sanitary napkin. Sorry my daughter wasn’t able to get ur name but we really do appreciate your effort 🥰 Note that this is an old 3-star hotel so manage your expectations BUT all of their staffs are superb and super accommodating.

My initial encounter with the staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. However, during our breakfast buffet, three of us were denied entry because we were wearing "sandos." We complied and changed our attire, but later noticed that two guests inside the buffet area were also wearing sandos and were not approached. When we asked for clarification, we were told that "spaghetti strap sandos" are not allowed, but some types of sandos are acceptable. This was very confusing. To add to the frustration, the staff said they could not do anything about the other guests already inside because they had already been allowed entry. The inconsistency in enforcing the dress code was disappointing and unfair. As we were leaving—just a meter or two away from the buffet area—my attention was called as if I was walking out without paying. It was an embarrassing moment that left a negative impression. I later found out the staff involved were OJTs/interns, which may explain the handling, but it doesn't excuse how the situation made us feel. I lost my appetite and felt uncomfortable throughout. Sadly, this experience is what we’ll remember most about our stay.

I cannot remember anymore how many times we stayed here for most of our family occasions. We enjoyed staying here because staffs were all warm and friendly and always welcome us with smiles, from security guards to front desk staffs.||This New Year we encountered a slight problem which they were able to address immediately. Because we were told upon check in that cooking is no longer allowed in P-4. :So we were shocked because i was not informed prior to the booking date. And we already prepared everything including all the food that we intend to cooked. I told them to give consideration as i don't want to ruin our new year celebrations, Imagine, staying in a hotel for 3 days without any food to cook especially on new year eve, what are we going to do then with all the meat, seafood, etc that we brought. Luckily, all's well that ends well. Every problem has been solved, so thank you Orchids for allowing us and providing all the cooking materials we requested.||If you will ask me if i will come back. Of course, still no doubt about that. Only hoping on our next visit, there will be breakfast buffet already and pool will be allowed to used also. And about the cooking, we will be glad if it will be...
