iSuites Hotel Malate — Hotel in Manila

I had my worst hotel experience during my stay at iSuites Malate Hotel and Condotel. I had booked a room through Agoda, as advertised, but things took a turn as soon as I arrived. I was initially assigned Room 1508, but upon reaching the hotel, the security guard, whose last name was Chu (as indicated on his uniform), informed me that the room was already occupied by another guest.||I attempted to contact the room owner using the provided phone number, but the line was not working. Despite repeatedly explaining this to the guard, he insisted that I should first reach out to the owner. Only after I raised my voice did he allow me inside. The other guard then checked with the unit owner to verify the guest list, and I was eventually notified via email that the other guest hadn’t even booked the room. It turned out there had been a double-booking issue.||I was transferred to Room 1911, where the second guard was very helpful and even escorted me to my new room—though that was not part of his job. However, my disappointment continued once I entered the room. There was no Wi-Fi and no TV, which was a huge letdown. I couldn’t understand how a place like this could lack basic amenities. When I reached out to the owner about these missing features, I received no response.||As a frequent staycationer, this was the first time I felt utterly dissatisfied with the quality of service for the price I paid. The receptionist also the management has POOR SKILL on explaining the rules in the hotel. They are LACK OF TRAINING as well as the other staffs Chinese people was their ONLY priority here.
