Ask any Chinese parent their top 5 favorite Chinese restaurants and you will start to see a pattern. Century will most likely (if not always) be included on their list. Century is also one of their favorite places to hold reception after weddings, birthdays and other special occasions. There are many reasons why this is so and I'll name some here, suckling pig is so good, suahe is fresh, prawn salad is delicious, pancit is legit, bird's nest is authentic, Peking duck is crispy and most of all, the classic favorites are available like sweet and sour pork, steamed lapulapu, beef with broccoli and yang chow. We came here to celebrate a birthday so we booked the back room for it. We parked in the Century Park Hotel by the entrance for a fee. The restaurant itself is located at the far end of the lobby, just keep an eye out for the signs. The venue was quite spacious and everything was ready to go which was nice. The birthday noodles were nice as was the chicken and prawn. The pumpkin soup and crab cakes were nice but a bit on the bland side. The braised pork hock wasn't bad. Outstanding seafood! Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavour. The variety was impressive and the quality exceeded my expectations.
