I greatly enjoyed staying here and would do so again. I picked the hotel because of the full kitchen. I wanted to be able to took. My unit had a gas stove top (no oven) tea kettle, rice steamer, microwave oven and medium size fridge. Basic pots and pans dishes and cutlery. Also it had a small dining area, living room and bedroom. Basically it is a furnished one bedroom condo. It was done nicely with new tile floors, freshly painted, with free wifi and two flat screen tv's with international cable (Filipino, American, British, Indian and Chinese ). As these are individually owned units you don't know what you will get. My only grip is that while the room furnishings and trimmings were nicely done the age of the building itself meant the rooms smelled musty. They had 1 or 2 airwick fresheners in each room. The location itself is great it is located between Taft and Roxas Blvd near a small shopping mall and grocery store, a convenience market right next door and easy access to several attractions (Ocean City Aquarium, Cultural Center of the Philippines, Rizal Park, Ft Santiago and the Intramuros). they aren't affiliated with hotel that owns the pool and restaurant so you do need to ask for vouchers to use them. No big deal, it's just not made clear on their website. There are not laundry facilities but they will pickup, wash, dry and delivery a medium sized load for around P200 (about $4).||||Okay, I lied, gripe number 2 in the mornings you can hear dogs barking and roosters crowing even on the 8th floor LOL. But hey,....... that's the...
Read moreStayed a week. Picked up by paid Limo and the guys met my requests to go meetings, airport etc. even though not associated with room. I felt safe and never a thing out of place and nothing too much trouble. Put aside the building which MBSA have no control over and there are a few minor issues I had double apartment as teaching local friends computer use so they stayed over at times because they had a lot of travel. More than adequate room and comfort. Room was serviced when requested but still don't know how often otherwise. Very non evasive ad professional staff who thought ahead and made sure you were booking vehicle or other things in time to ensure you met deadlines. Close to Mall(s) and we acted like big kids and went to the fun park about 200 metres away. We enjoyed the city views and a quiet drink each night from balcony. Felt safe and secure the entire time & great value and phenomenal service from MBSA. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and it is the best facility value for money, that I have stayed at. I would not only stay again I will make every effort to do so. Great crew and...
Read moreThis was way better than a hotel! I stayed 15 days and i didnt want to leave. Everything was as pictured online. Staff was very friendly and responsive. A/C was cold and worked very good! Very clean room and insect free. WiFi worked great i didnt have any problems. Very soft and comfortable recliners. The beds are very firm, could be softer. The kitchen has just about everything you need to cook with. Only downside was no coffee maker, but Harrison plaza is less than 2 blocks away and you can buy a coffee maker there for under 1000PHP. Harrison plaza has a super market that had everything i needed. The mini stop down stairs is always open and has snacks, drinks, alcohol, toiletry items and already cooked rice. The pool is clean and has a beautiful view of star city. The balcony has a nice view of the city facing Makati. It was easy to get a ride on the grab app for under 200PHP to go to the mall of Asia or the ocean park. Very good location! I plan on coming back...
