Tramway Bayview Buffet — Restaurant in Pasay

My first time to eat here yesterday (03-24-2019). We celebrated a 2nd birthday of our friends kid here and the place the overall good borderline great! If you want to go here, I would highly suggest that you schedule a reservation ahead. It gets crazy at night (from 5pm to 10pm) and there are a lot of folks who come here for the good food. You can rent the rooms for an extra fee on top of the meal per head. 1st of all, the meal is affordable and the food choices are GREAT! There are 7 of us and 1 2 year old kid. And it only costs around ₱2000.. That's how affordable it is. That 2000 bucks is like a fee already for 2 persons in YABU. Just saying. They have various selections of meals and it is all served hot. The only thing that I did not like on this place is that they lack man power to stand by in the food area. I witnessed 2 separate kids who were unguided by there parents. The 1st kid was taking a 2nd round of the Buko Pandan dessert and he was actually using his own spoon o refill his food. The 2nd was a girl, around the same age (5 ot 7ish years old) and she was standing by the snack area, taking chips and eating happily while dipping relentlessly on the dip that was supposed to be served to everyone. Both incident are unsanitary. It would be have been avoided if they were enough people checking and looking at the guests refilling their plates on the food area. BAD SERVICE, RUDE MANAGER and STAFF. This establishment will probably close pretty soon because of the employee’s behaviour. They don’t know how to deal with complaints!! So unfortunately we decided to dine at Tramway for a birthday celebration. We were a family of 18, with 3 toddlers. We were asking for discounts or any offers for the birthday celebrant, which is usually provided in any other “eat all you can restaurants”, and there’s none but that’s okay and it was not an issue. However they wanted to charge PHP238 for each toddler who are actually picky eaters and doesn’t usually eat well. We were asking for consideration not to charge them that amount because aside from these toddlers we were willing to pay normal rate PHP 338 for 5 students who wouldn’t eat as normal adults. Some of the staff became hostile towards us instead of understanding our request and carefully analyzing the situation. We just wanted to enjoy the occasion and spend our money’s worth at the same time. The height policy for toddler’s is not logical. they should charge at least half or offer some sort of freebies for children below 3 yrs old. But they would rather let their customers walk away and lose sales because of an unreasonable policy. Treat your customers like your guest, treat them with respect regardless of circumstances, this goes to their manager who would rather raise her voice at us and interrupt us while talking instead of listening first. They almost ruined our night....

If you find pleasure in going out with friends or family and indulging your palate with different dishes, that is budget friendly, Tramway is one of the places to be. Buffet price for adults is 228 pesos, kids who are 3-4 feet high is at 178 pesos and those cute kiddos who are 2-3 feet high is priced at 75 pesos (but please check first if their prices are still the same) . Their menu usually vary depending on the ingredients (vegetables) in season. They have soup, staple dishes like pancit, pasta, chinese fried rice (yang chow, i think). They also have stations for main dishes like steamed fish, spring rolls, salad rolls and more. Side dishes are also available like dimsum, make-your-own vegetable salad with thousand island dressing, etcetera 😊. And of course, dessert! You can choose from buchi, seasonal fruits which are in season, assorted jellies, and more! They open at 11 in the morning and closes at 10 in the evening.
