Ace Travellers Inn — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

As we decided to come back to Puerto Princesa we were enthusiastic of going back this guest house too. Last year we enjoyed the staying because was cheap, clean, simple place and the women working at that time were so nice and helpful. This year everything was different. Firstly, the price were much higher, but the the room was dirtier + many parts were broken (lights and tubes). Moreover, no water at all!! NEVER WATER!!! The women not helpful nether, not motivated... So a really BAD staying. We rent the scooter from the guest house and was just an old banger. They didn't even check it to see if it was OK... So we had problems many times. Eventually, on the top, when we decided to move out, the owner didn't want to give us back our money. She threates a lot her workers by phone... Trying to push them to sell us whatever for not losing the payment done in advance. They were so stressed by her. At the end we understund the real problem was the owner greed. Bad...

Stayed here for a few hours because I took an early flight. They were nice to offer me a regular rate of 350 pesos even if I checked in at 8 AM in the morning given that I will check out at 5 PM. The staff are very nice and accommodating and are honestly the bright spots of this accommodation. The only room available during my stay is a fan room. It was horrible. Honestly, if you have the means to choose another accommodation with AC and money is not an issue, go for that. The room was so hot, there wasn’t any ventilation inside. The bathroom is decent. With good water flow and a working toilet. They will provide a free towel and thats it. The room has small cockroaches too. The location is great it’s 1 block away from a number of fast food chains and cafes. Will not recommend getting the fan room, if you have any...

We stayed here for the night since we arrived in Puerto Princesa from El Nido around midnight. We just needed a cheap place to rest before checking out the next morning, and at 850 pesos for one night, it wasn’t too bad.

The place is pretty straightforward. You have your bed and a fan. They have shared bathrooms, which we barely used. It’s not the most well-maintained—there’s a bathtub, but it didn’t seem clean enough to use. The reception is located on the second floor, which is a bit different.

The location is very convenient, though. It’s close to a lot of establishments and within walking distance of fast food chains and convenience stores. If you’re just looking for a quick spot to rest for a few hours, this place...
