FERSAL HOTEL Puerto Princesa — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at on my trip to Palawan. Its location was perfect, very close to the airport in Puerto Princessa. We only planed on staying there for the night but ended up extending our say and kept coming back. Every other hotel we stay at after, didn't live up to the service and experience at Fersal. The biggest part of the experience was the staff. Although the rooms were not the best and the hotel didn't have a pool, it was all the staff at the hotel that made our stay there such a wonderful experience. Right from the security guard outside greeting us every time we walked in and out, the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant staff we always felt the warmth in their smiles and what only seemed like genuine hospitality and always ready to help us attitude. The front desk staff, in particular Let, was so amazing to us that we kept coming back to stay at the Fersal.

My only regret is that we didn't tip the staff for all their dedication and hardwork to make our stay as comfortable bas possible, But they deserved the biggest tip for sure.

Also the restaurant had possibly the best breakfast we've had during our stay at Palawan, way better than any other hotel on the Island.

Also this hotel was much cheaper than their competitors, but the staff was top notch..Very professional, very hospitable, always ready to help, genuine feeling of warmth and happiness in their smiles which reflected on our...

Location really wasn't bad at all... It's kinda in the middle of a main strip for shops, bars, and restaurants.

Service was good, A/C didn't work upon arrival, staff was quick to send someone up and fix it.

The room, it wasn't good at all. Stains on the top cover, stains on the sheets, cracks in walls, stains on the wall. Smallest bathroom in the world, no face towel available, extremely hard bed, breakfast was also a disappointment; food was cooked well but everything was really cold, everything ...! Nothing was kept warm. No real view but no big deal but my room was next to a gentleman's club and the music keeps you up all night.

Wifi is equally horrible, steamed YouTube and music for a few hours and then was kicked off completely, would not connect anymore, didn't even try to throttle my connection just "can't connect to network", tablet still worked fine, I only streamed music.

We only chose this location for open-water done certification which is 3 days and we have been certified today.

Avoid this hotel at all costs, even if you are just hanging in the area, you get what...

We love the service in this hotel . The staff are so accommodating , always friendly and ready to help . If you ask for something you get it right away . Very welcoming . Eric took good care of us in the dining room . Free breakfast was sufficient and hot , rooms were clean and spacious. Location is really good. Near airport and everything else . There were trikes that you can hail as soon as you get out of the hospital . It is not a fancy hotel but it did have darts, billiard and some games you can use , also a balcony for smokers if you just want to hang out . It felt safe .We ordered food and had it delivered there and ate in the balcony . For the price , It is good value. Again , nothing fancy but has all the basics, hot water , bidet , robe, clean towels. They also provide pitchers in the room that you can use to fill with water from the dispensers in the hallways . Will definitely stay...
