Went during Bagyong Crising. We were supposed to stay at one of the room in the main building but we couldn’t get off the car because the area was full of rain water. From the entrance and the main parking. So they transferred us to the main house. Two bedrooms 2 baths a dinning. Gave us welcome drinks. Problem was there was no water as soon as we stayed waited for a couple of hours. Also happened the next couple of days. The staff tried hardest to accommodate us amidst the storm. Good location near restaurants and the city. Would advice travelers to rent a car during your stay at puerto. To the owner of Mayumi Lodge. The room was way smaller than on the pictures. That wouldn’t be a problem as the accommodation was really cheap. However, the place was dirty! The reception area and the stairs were already a yellow flag but we have it a chance. Then We noticed filthy liquid on a small table and remote control in our room. The apartment was tiny: there was only a bed and this table in the room so not sure how you can miss it). The toilet seat was nasty as well, full of sticky liquid. We called the reception, they were apologetic and they sent staff to clean it up. The cleaning lady was just complaining a little.
