Purple Fountain Courtyard Inn — Hotel in Puerto Princesa

beautiful and comfortable place with well designed and well maintained rooms and grounds. has the quality of an upscale b&b in the USA. far above the quality of other hotels in this price range. the rooms are not only a pleasure, the grounds have many places to enjoy sitting outside with loved ones or guests. the hotel restaurant serves a tasty breakfast and has a decently-recently sized menu. the fruit smoothies are ok but not quite as full of fruit and flavor as I expected. the wifi data rates are relatively low, and power has gone out several times I just one morning here do far. the staff are good. the airport pickup was fast. we arrived early, and they wanted to charge 100php/hr for early check in. otherwise, I'm extremely pleased...

I am at the Purple Fountain Inn now with my family. The place is very cute, the staff is wonderful and the breakfast that we had this morning was very good. However there is no running water most of the time. You wake, no water. You go out for a day of adventure and come back dirty and tired, no running water. Can”t shower. Most of the time that we need water, there is none. This fact should be part of the advertisement. They should tell you that you will not have water before you book. Instead you have to ask for bucket and cups to shower when they should provide them when you arrive, because they know that you will not have water. There are better places to...

SHOCK and AWE. Our one week stay was shockingly delightful. It was simply awesome. The place is quaintly tucked near the airport and enveloped by superb restaurants (their White Fence restaurant has chockful of good eats!) Room is well appointed and spacious, we didn't have unwanted guests during our stay. No stray animals either, just chirping birds. Management and staff? Very courteous beyond description. We had a restful and pleasant stay. And we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Puerto Princesa.
