I spent 9 nights in quarantine at this particular hotel. I think it must have been quite a decent hotel 30 years ago, but it has not aged very well at all. During my stay, I changed hotel rooms 3 times due to multiple issues. Broken air-conditioning, very poor (basically unusable) Wi-Fi connection, and really terrible beds. Some of the rooms were small and stuffy, but others were quite roomy. However, all of them were old and smelled of mold and humidity. The bathrooms were also in bad need of renovation and did not work properly - leaks and all. Hygiene was questionable to say the least, and the sheets and towels were clean but extremely worn. The worst were definitely the beds - truly uncomfortable, the mattresses have probably not been changed in many decades - beds sink under your weight and make horrible creaking noises whenever you dare to move a little. We were served 3 meals per day, standard filipino food but often quite bland and not so hot. As I result I mostly had to order food from outside the hotel. The wifi connection was not free (250 pesos a week) which is expensive considering it hardly worked - very slow and disconnecting on a regular basis. The air-conditioning was very basic and a bit small for the size of the rooms. Since you cannot set the temperature, it takes a while to cool down the room and then you leave it on, eventually it gets too cold and you end-up freezing in bed - especially given the fast that the blanket they provide is extremely thin - I used two and it was not enough. The only positives about this hotel is the good location in Quezon City and the friendliness of the staff. Overall, I would Not rate this as a 3 Star hotel. However it was one of the cheapest quarantine hotels available in...
Read moreOur golf group went to the PI for a two week stay with 6 rounds of golf at some beautiful courses in the Philippines. Our tournament director booked us at the Camelot for two weeks and being the first time staying here I was neither pleased or disappointed at the hotel. It's a little dark in the lobby, dining area, and in the hallways. Staff was OK...they were helpful and quite friendly. In the middle of the week it rained really hard one day and the rain started to leak into the room causing a puddle on the floor and needed to be dried up. My friend two rooms down had his room slightly flooded and got most of his items soaked. They came and fixed the problem but this was unsatisfactory for our stay. The Dungeon down stairs was good. The band was excellent and provided requests. Would I stay here again? Well, our golf group is going back in January and I probably would stay at Camelot again. Across the street, they have everything you might need such as money exchange, supermarket, massage studio for relaxing the muscles, a 7 Eleven t u people store, a phone store where you can get a SIM card to put into your phone and a few restaurants. Well, I hope this helps on making your decision about staying at...

Things i didn't like during my stay. *Lcd Tv too small for a big space - could've been 32" to 43inch wall hunged LCD smart TV *bed foams are good but pillows are hard as rock, and are old. Its time for a change. *thin blanket, (i used 2 blankets at the same time) *towel/blanket/pillow case replacements are worn out. Too old for Hotel /comercial use. *no electric kettle inside the unit but (hot&cold water dispenser is outside the room, along corridor)
Other than that ,its a good place to stay for...
