I went here specifically because they had a vegan/vegetarian menu. I have no comment on their non-vegan menu since I didn’t order it. I ordered the fresh vegan summer rolls and vegan pho.
The summer rolls were good, nothing extraordinary. It was a good appetizer and can fill you up until your order arrives.
The vegan pho was really tasty. The soup wasn’t too salty but could use a little more seasoning. Would I order it again? I would because it’s still comforting.
Full disclosure: I came here for the banh xeo but was disappointed that they added egg to the batter. Hope you offer a vegan bahn xeo option next time.
Edit: Apparently, the bahn xeo is vegan but the staff on duty that time told me it had eggs. It could be a miscommunication but I hope the management can correct this mistake with the staff so vegans can enjoy bahn xeo at Saigon Corner.
The restaurant was converted from an okd house. The main dining area was a bit disappointing because it wasn’t very welcoming. Very big contrast from the second level dining area.
Not sure if this is their policy all the time but they had only one staff present on the floor, who kept moving back and forth from the kitchen to the main dining area to the back. So whenever we needed her, it always took awhile because we had to wait for her to come back to the dining area. We went there for Tuesday lunch, It’s not a super big deal and I’m not sure if they have more servers during their peak hours. If this is important to you, you might need to note this.
Food came out quick anyway and everything was complete on our table.
They have a common restroom with two cubicles with bidets. Yes, this is important to a lot of people.
When we went there, they only accept cash, and gcash payments. No credit/debit cards.
Overall, I’d still come back especially since they have...
Read moreThe place exuded an air of authentic Vietnamese ambiance. The tables and chairs were clean and comfortable, and are placed with sufficient space in between for customers to move around.
I came in as the last customer of the evening, having booked a reservation via Eatigo. The menu boasted of an interesting array of Vietnamese standards, such as spring rolls, summer rolls, noodles, salads and other specialties.
I ordered the Beef Salad and Noodles with their Special Sauce, which, according to their menu, was a house specialty. My order arrived on time, but the actual serving did not match the picture on the menu. The bowl was not full, unlike the picture on the menu. There were no carrots, contents of the bowl looked like it was only two-thirds compared to what is shown on the menu.
The beef was tender, sweet and well cooked. The noodles were of the right doneness, and was of the right proportion to the meat and vegies.
The staff were attentive and were polite. They just needed to be more familiar with the mechanics of Eatigo. They almost underbilled me. They checked my Eatigo reservation confirmation. I showed them my booking confirmation which was for a 30% discount, but what the cashier billed me was only 30% of the bill. I had to explain to them that my bill should be 70% of the total amount, and my discount should be 30%, not the other way around.

highly reco!! Saigon Corner PH📍22 Scout Bayoran, Tomas Morato, QC
satay pho - 310 - sweet, nutty and (slightly) spicy; a unique kind of eats if u ask me. the beef broth’s thick and rich, the noodles al dente and there’s a crunch from the vegs and herbs w/ meat and meatballs.
seafood fried rice w/ satay sauce - 340 - no words 🤤!! then turn on the heat w/ the satay sauce. no need for ulam/viand if u’re set in ordering just this.
pomelo salad - 240 - fresh and crunchy w/ a flavour profile of bitter-sweet from the pomelo and sweet-salty of the sweet patis dressing. would love a lil’ heat on here to hide the pomelo’s bitterness, w/c was quite overwhelming for me.
caramelized chix pops - 280 - marinated fried chicken lollipops w/ a soy-based glaze that’s really good!! papak-worthy!!
salted egg shrimp - 400 - fried shrimp w/ a generous coat of salted egg w/c makes it so rich to eat by itself, but still… YUM as always!!
egg coffee - 180 - thick, meringue-like egg foam that’s sweet and decadent and is perfff w/ that viet coffee that’s deep, rich and roasted. 10/10!!
coconut coffee - 180 - the coconut flave lingers in the palate and the presentations on point. but… my heart’s w/ the egg coffee.
