Place is usually packed and there is always a line based on other reviews, but we only waited for less than 15 minutes. We were given seats in the 2nd floor where ambience is better although you have to go up and down the stairs to get food. Groundfloor could get too busy with all the people lining up in the buffet area to get food. There are lots of food options, from chicken to pork and beef. They have also a variety of soup and rice to choose from. You can also opt to add seafood as part of your unlimited meal. The salmon sashimi were so fresh that it melts in your mouth. There are a lot of staff that are on stand by if you need assistance. You also order the meat and they will be the one to cook it for you. Dessert was ok. My favorite was the corn cheese that you can mix with the chicken or meat. They also have 5 + 1 promo for those with birthdays. For the price of 800+ per pax, I can say the food and place were a bang for your buck

Loved the place and the food. They have a lower lunch buffet price on Wed & Thu @ P499 per person. Although it's a simple buffet but, you will never regret it. For the BBQ items, you'd have to select from a list provided to you by the table and, they'll grill it outside and then, bring it to your table. For the shrimps 🦐 tempura, also you have to request it from the staff. Just make sure that, no left over, otherwise you'd be charged an additional P300 per person. Unlimited Iced Tea is available on the side as well. Toilets are clean. The restaurant was a bit hot although, they have plenty of AC's all around. Very helpful & friendly staff all around. Parking: this might be a concern, as due to the limited spaces by the restaurant, you will have to spend sometime looking for an empty parking lot, which can be a bit far. We will come back for sure 😁

For me, food was not sulit for its price (699 pesos). Food was average. My favorites were the sashimi, nachos, and the brown fried rice (cant remember what its called but it took long to refill.) Idk if we're just unlucky when we visited but their grilled dishes and fried chicken were dry and lacked flavor. The flavors they offer did not have that much distinction in taste. Not all the food that we placed was served. One of the meats still had some pink, raw spots in it. My family tried ordering the spicy beef twice because we did not get anything spicy on our first order so we thought that maybe they just forgot to deliver our order so we just tried again but we still didnt receive the spicy beef on our second order so we just gave up and ordered something different on our third order which was our last time to order grilled meats. Kimchi soup was good but served lukewarm in the buffet area. Their ribs were a bit hard to chew we didn't enjoy it. Our first orders of calamares and tempura were good but as people filled the place, they might have rushed cooking our orders that we ended up having some wet batter on both the tempura and calamares. We just got tired of waiting so we did not bother having it replaced. Their boneless chicken were really small like smaller than normal chicken poppers. The only flavor i liked was the buffalo chicken. The rest was hard, dry and bland like the meat itself was not even marinated with salt and pepper. As we were finishing up our food to leave, a plate of meat that we did not order arrived at our table. We were confused so we called one of the employees'attention and returned the plate to them. Gladly they did not insist that we ordered that. We just felt that they just serve whatever they want to customers instead of actually giving what was ordered. 😥 The toilet was dirty when we visited but the staff were very attentive and cleaned the area immediately when we brought our concern to them. Overall, the food was okay, nothing special. The staff were really accommodating and kind. The ambiance was nice, really enjoyed the music btw. I also want to mention how I was so pleased to see this business give job opportunities to middle-old aged women. (Lola at the sashimi and sauces section was sweet.) I found this resto on tiktok and i thought it was just overhyped by vloggers/influencers. I just hope people are responsible enough to share real and honest reviews. Maybe i also expected a lot since the owners are Korean. I will definitely come back if their food and service improves.

We went here to celebrate the good things, but we ended up in a bad mood. They have the worst service ever. Plus, while their food selections are palatable, not all of them are served all at once. Most of them are for refill - you have to wait until they are served. From what I can remember, they are represented in tiktok as having plenty of selections. But we were disappointed to find out that they serve few food at the buffet table. You still even have to wait just for the plain rice. They don’t serve lettuce all throughout, too. They just serve food at intervals and they don’t serve everything all at once. The dessert was hidden too, and there were just only two - coffee jelly and mixed fruits. If you don’t ask, you wouldn’t know that they serve desserts. As to service, they have the worst. My friends and I were enjoying and conversing, yet, the crew was disrespectful. She kept on cleaning our table even though we’re still there. She kept on doing that several times after we ate our food. I asked her why, she told us passive aggressively that our table was messy, that’s why she kept on cleaning our table. When we left for some drinks, she told my friend who was left at the table that our time limit was up. But there was no time limit, as we found out. Lastly, she asked for our payment even though she didn’t give us our bill. We asked for the receipt, of course. It’s as if she was demanding payment just to see if we have the money. But when we asked for our bill, she gave that to us after twenty minutes. She was really the worst. Don’t believe the influencers who post on soc med. Sobrang budol. I don’t have anything bad to say in the places I’ve dined in during this lifetime, but this was exceptionally worst. I hope you spare yourself from this place. And oh, they charge 5% service charge for such horrible service. In my picture are the only available selections at the first hour I was at Myeongdong. Edit: And oh, tinitipid din nila yung sashimi. The staff handing out the sashimi makes you feel shamed when she gives you another piece, even though you paid for a buffet. Mind you, I only took two pieces and she gave me an eye for it. This is such a GREEDY place. Don’t go.

Pros: - Foods were prepared well - Fairly new and spacious resto - Staffs are rather approachable - Seafoods were fresh, the buttered shrimp was really good Cons: - Solo diners are charged higher for the unli which doesn't make sense. Usually samgyup restos charge higher for solo diners because they'll be using the grill and butane alone as compared to couples or groups who shares the same grill. However at Myeongdong Gastropub they charge like an additional 150 to 200 pesos even if there's no grill on your table. You would just have to order it and they'll cook it for you, meaning they can control and cook orders together and save on gas/coal/butane and should not charge solo diners more. - Before the buffet/unli starts, there's a long queue maybe because it was hyped by some reels and influencers. There's a small waiting shed with monoblocks. The thing is, while seated, there's a foul smell, I don't know, maybe coming from the drainage. - Less variety/food options compared to the likes of Yakikai - Though I'm happy that the staffs were courteous and pro active, the beef enoki cheese that I ordered took 1 hour before it was served. I literally had to make 2 follow ups. I just don't understand why the orders of others were served within 5 to 10 minutes while mine was left out. Also, there's a slip where you just check what you want to order and I recall selecting burgersteak on that list and that order never came. No one informed me that it was not available to begin with and I wouldn't know if I didn't made follow ups. This is what ruined my overall dining experience. Honest opinion, there's really not much to rave about, I guess it was just another hype by food bloggers. Even the cheesy corn, it was really just corn topped with cheese and these food bloggers made it seem like a must try 😔

We ate here last Sunday, Feb 4 after the lunch hour rush. We got the P699 all-you-can-eat special The first floor was still packed but we got seated almost immediately near the buffet line. The food choices were overwhelming. There were 3 types of steamed rice, 5-7 flavors for both bulgogis and boneless chickens, 4 different kinds of korean soups, seasoned tamago, mozzarella-covered corn, tempura, salmon sashimi, 3-5 variations of noodles, and a whole lot more. Their meat(samgyupsal) selection were limited. Also, I don't think seafood options are worth the additional fees. I only saw micro scallops, crabs, and shrimp. Some of the food items tasted delicious but most were just ordinary. What's nice tho was that each item along the buffet line had their own distinct flavor. No two items tasted the same. All were freshly cooked. The service was impeccable. Staff members were always moving, cleaning, or doing something to make operations run smoother. It takes them only 5-10min to refill the containers with hot, fresh food. Even one of the owners was actively helping out with cleaning up tables. The only drawback is the wait time for the samgyupsal. We only ordered 4 items from the meat selection, but it took almost 45min for it to be served, and the meat lacked seasoning. I don't feel that their samgyup was the main star in their P699 deal. The interior was modern, clean-looking, and very spacious. I'd recommend coming here during off-hours so that you are able to eat comfortably and maximize your time with the buffet.
