The ambiance is inviting, although it seems that there is a disconnect between the name of place (Icebergs) and the food they serve. It seemed as if there were more "hot" food items compared to the "cold"...
Food tastes good, and wait staff try their very best to be responsive and accommodating. Food is also well plated... One problem, though: when I took out the tooth pick which held the burger patty, bun, and filling together, I did not like the color of the wooden pick. I called the attention of the wait staff. She said that the discoloration may have been caused by the heat of the bun and patty when the hamburger was assembled... I said, "Really?"... and so she said, "Sir, we will just replace your order instead, and we will not use a tooth pick anymore."
Her comment was not sarcastic, and was still gracious. When my burger came back, I checked if this was really a new one (I have heard of horrific instances, in which food handlers play aroudn with a customer's food because of the latter's complaint), and it was...
Their cream soup also tasted good, and it did not feel like it came from a packet of instant cream soup powder. Their fries had a distinctive taste; they added paprika or something else, and it made for a very interesting combination, in a very good way. Overall, my experience was very satisfactory.
I will visit again.

Read moreYou can park in front of Icebergs. There is a guard who will guide you. Place is clean, but a little worn I'd say not from the years but from the number of patrons. There's a lot you can order here from meals to dessert. I'd say my review is not entirely accurate because we just went here for dessert. The place we ate at only had cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert and the chocolate cake was dry. So we didn't finish the cake and decided to go elsewhere for dessert. We landed here and they just opened at 9am. The staff were accommodating and there was so much on the menu. If I hadn't just eaten, I would've ordered the food (for research purposes of course, ahem ahem 😉). I also had a hard time picking my dessert because I was eyeing King Kong and Godzilla. My heart said yes but my mind said you won't be able to finish that. So I just had a parfait and they had a banana split. I definitely have to keep coming back just to sample every dessert item in...
Read moreIt's the classics that really blast you with nostalgia and Icebergs is no exception. This store is a part of our childhood growing up in the 80s. What we ordered: Halo-Halo, Mais Con Hielo, Oreo Milkshake, Saba Langka Con Hielo Upside: there's al fresco area at this branch, and a decent sized air-conditioned area inside (it's chilly, our kind of cold). Their menu options offer a wide variety of mains and desserts. GCash available. Downside: I remember this place to be quite trendy and a bit high-end back in the 80s, but its age shows in the way everything is set up. Looks tired and traditional. The staff gives you a kind of small eatery vibe vs the cool, proud tradition that I remember Icebergs was. Limited parking slots, street parking available. Do we recommend this place? Yes. Are we...
