Paradores de Vigan — Hotel in Vigan

This was our second time to visit Vigan as a family and our first time to stay at Panadores De Vigan, and we are so very glad that we did! ||The staff are friendly and helpful from booking all the way to our departure. |They even went out of their way to find out if the local coffee shop would be open since it was a holiday when we arrived. We were greeted with warm and friendly demeanor, and we were able to check-in earlier (1245PM). It's located near some of the popular tourist spots, restaurants yet it's quiet. We also did not hear any noise coming from the other rooms or guests. ||Our rooms were on the second floor. They were clean, pleasant, lots of room and complete with basic amenities. The bed was comfortable, and we had the best sleep during our stay. |We had a minor issue with the bathroom, but it was immediately fixed. |Our breakfast was served on time as requested. Our rooms were cleaned during our stay. ||Just a couple of minor improvements: |The water pressure in the shower could be stronger and maybe have the bathroom door fixed (we had to push it really hard for it to close). ||Recommendation/Suggestion:|Provide a water dispenser in the room for added comfort. |Two water bottles were provided for free and refilled the next day, but it would be nicer to have access to a water dispenser inside the room rather than having to buy and carry water bottles from the store whenever we went out. ||We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, and I definitely recommend them especially for families and big groups. By the way, they are right across the street from the famous First Sinangloa (they're open as early as 6AM). It was my first time in Vigan and I had a comfortable stay in this condo-hotel. It is close to Calle Crisologo and the business area of the place. It is also close to the public market and the one of the bus stations. Rooms are very clean. It has a spacious bedroom with lots of places to store your stuff. A mini living room with TV and a dining table, fridge, kettle, kitchen utensils, cups and mugs, free coffee/tea and sugar. Their washroom has conditioner/shampoo/soap and also some free toiletries and towels. My only complain with the washroom was the flexible hose in the toilet was leaking. We also asked for a twin-bedroom but unfortunately it was not available and they gave us a king sized bed instead. I also booked a pick up from the airport but unfortunately there was a miscommunication so I rode the public transportation from the airport to the hotel, hence the 3- star rating from me. When I got to the hotel though, all the staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. They gave me a map of vigan, suggested some spots that I should visit and gave me a cheat sheet of some Ilocano phrases. You can also ask them to do your laundry, but with a fee ofcourse. Lastly, they sell some vigan longganisa and also some bagnet if your looking for some pasalubong for your loved ones.

Super love this condotel!! Apart from the building being new, their staff are great - very courteous and polite and even called in a Calesa to the condotel to pick us up for a great calesa tour at Calle Crisologo among other things! They offer the famous Vigan longganisa at the condotel too (to save you time in looking and buying for one!!) Their location is strategic as it is very near Calle Crisologo so you have the option of even walking to the famous 'calle'. The AC is great, the room is great, with complete toiletries and even slippers. You can bring in food and heat it up in your room if you feel like eating it later. They provide spoons, forks, plates, cups, glasses for you to use which you should wash when you use it (a fair deal if you ask me as most doesn't even offer this). It felt like renting a condo really for a day or so, well it won't be called a condotel for nothing! I will surely come...
