Came all the way from Australia and decided to stay in this hotel over the Christmas period. Generally very pleased with the quality of service, rooms and selection of food for breakfast and dinner. We received a very warm welcome and for our entire stay the hotel created a great Christmas atmosphere. ||However one down side was the manners (or lack thereof) of one of the staff members from the spa. This man (blonde guy, name was Tomasz) was very rude from the moment we arrived. Massages were included in our Christmas package and when we went to book them we were greeted with a very unpleasant attitude from this staff member. It seemed as if he was trying to avoid all questions, trying to do as little work as possible and shockingly, rolling his eyes whenever we asked/said something he couldn't be bothered responding too. This wasn't a one time thing either, we had three encounters with this staff member and each one was just as unpleasant as the other. This is my only complaint about this hotel because otherwise our...
Read moreWe wanted to check out the skiing in Karpacz so we chose the Greno because it was close to the ski lift for the smaller ski hills. The room was clean and had everything we needed, but could use a little bit of an update. There's a nice pool area with saunas and a jacuzzi, and a spa as well. The pool are smelled a bit musty, but we enjoyed all it had to offer anyway. We didn't use the spa so I can't comment on that aspect of the hotel. The breakfast was substantial and had both hot and cold food. There was no cappuccino, only regular coffee and tea. We didn't make use of the bar in the lobby or the restaurant for lunch or dinner, so I can't comment on those at this time. The hotel was in a good location for the ski lifts, and right across was an ice skating area. We were also about a 15 minute walk to the...
Read moreA good hotel. I spend five nights in a one person bedroom. That room was ok, interiour could use a slightly upgrade. Facilities are good! Nice swimmingpool, welness and massage, I have taken the latter on my last day. In front of the hotel there is a nice terace to sit for drinks or food.
Food: Breakfast excellent! Plenty of choices, delicious and during the days vatiation in the salads and cheese. Dinner: also very good! They serve rather huge portions for low price. For example the salads on starter menu: for some that will already be enough as maindish.
Staff: very friendly, very helpfull.
Location: rather high in the village, not too far from the center of Karpacz. For me more important the hotel is closeby startingpoints for the hikes to Sniezka mountaintop.
I have enjoyed my time at...
