Dianamar — Hotel in Albufeira

Whilst we only stayed for one night during our holiday we were absolutely delighted with the hotel, staff, room and location. We were early to arrive so left our bags and headed of with some information from the reception ( Alex). He also informed us that beach items including chairs were available if we wanted .. no charge! However we really just wanted a walkabout and food. The hotels is minutes away from the beach and a short walk into the old town .. perfect. When we returned we were blown away with the room which had a sea view .. absolutely beautiful and given a key to the roof terrace which gave that same view. There is no lift however our bags were already in the room .. really appreciated this even though it was only the 3 rd floor. We had water and wine complimentary which was another really nice touch and the room had a small fridge to use too. The room was on the small side, but if you have chosen an older, less modern hotel this is what I expect… and it was perfectly fine. It was very clean and the bathroom and shower were spotless. We stayed for 2 nights in the heart of this charming seaside village and at Dianamar hotel. |Very good location within walking distance to everything including the elevator down to the beach. There's some great restaurants along this road and not far to the centre of town for shopping. |Room was very small but comfortable enough as thete is a good sized balcony. The bed was comfy. Parking can be tricky and often entails a bit of a walk to the hotel but not too bad. The host was delightful and very informative. |However, I wasn't pleased when our coffee & sugar sachets were not routinely replaced from housekeeping and when I asked for them was told I needed to tip housekeeping in order for this to happen. This was our first time to Albuferia. This hotel was very nice! Very clean and great location. We were greeted by Sukham at the front desk. She is wonderful! She helped us out and helped us find restaurants and answered all our questions. She is a real asset to this hotel. The beach is very close to walk to snd has an elevator to get to it. It was great! The hotel has a very nice roof top that has great views. I would definitely come stay here again. The only thing they need to get off TripAdvisor is there is no FREE breakfast or food on the premises. Next door there are great breakfast places and restaurants and bars. This hotel is great it provides beach towels, chairs and beach umbrellas! Loved...
