Shelter Point — Hotel in Aveiro

Located on the city square with restaurants and small tourist stores. All attractions are within few minutes. Public parking is just beside but good luck finding a spot. Parking in town in general is difficult. ||Hostel itself is located in old building and all bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. I think there are 7 bedrooms in total services by 3 communal bathrooms, kitchen and sitting room. Bathrooms were clean. As it was a bit off season we were the only one -no problem with the noise. There is no breakfast at this place -they just direct you to a gelato/cafe place across the square.||The only issue we had was the check in time-it starts at 6 pm. By 3 pm we have see all the atractions and needed a place to chill. It was hard to sti in the rain for nearly 3 hours and drink coffee. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. My reservation for two people was canceled by the hostel just one day before our trip.I was in touch with the hostel for almost one week and they haven't mentioned or given a hint that the reservation would be canceled. O Hostel Ponto de Abrigo é muito bem localizado. Mantendo as características arquitetônicas o espaço é bastante charmoso e a decoração muito caprichada. Os quartos, roupas de cama e banheiros são limpos e organizados e ainda há disponibilidade de uma pequena cozinha para preparar as refeições. Fui muito bem recebida e no momento do check-in recebemos, além das orientações tradicionais referentes às instalações, informações sobre a história da cidade, das salinas e dos passeios de barco. No pacote que comprei estava incluso um passeio de barco para duas pessoas, o que considero muito positivo.||Bem em frente ao Hostel, no Largo da Apresentação, há diversos bares, cafés com comida de boa qualidade.||O ponto negativo é o check-in somente às 18h da tarde, mas fora isso é um local excelente que...
