Came here for a birthday dinner as we had heard that it served a lovely steak and was in a perfect area to go for drinks afterwards. We arrived at 7, and were likely one of the first tables being served. The service was fantastic and attentive. The chicken croquettes were curry flavoured and just didn’t feel like they matched anything else. The beef carpaccio was a bit too thickly cut and the sauce was slightly sickly. The steak was done well, although on the fatty side. The truffle mash and grilled vegetables were delicious and the standout. We ordered the fresh cheesecake with fig compote and really did not enjoy this. The fig was overpowering and made it hard to get through the cheesecake.

I walked about half an hour just to get there and have dinner during their normal operating hours. His highness at the kitchen (which is visible from the entrance door) told me it was "impossible" when he heard I was there to eat alone. They had plenty of empty tables, more than an hour to closing time, and he told me it was "impossible". He even checked to make sure I understand the impossibility of the situation by repeating and asking me "It's impossible, ok?". What a jerk.
