Ponte house — Hotel in Porto Moniz

We created our reservation in Sempember 2022 through Booking. Everything was fine until now. First of all Booking send me a message that they changed price from 100€ to 150€ and if I am okay with that or not. After a few days of not responding (I was on vacation) this accommodation canceled our reservation saying that it’s Booking’s fault because there was problem with system and they already had one reservation on our date. So I wrote on Booking and they told me that it’s this accommodation’s fault and they probably have mess in their reservations. So now we have airplane tickets, car, but no accommodation! There is already main season on Madeira and we are not able to find any other accommodation in this location! One thing I can’t understand - how is it even possible that you realized this after almost 9 months from creating our reservation?! Sorry but cancel our reservation 2 months before our stay is really shady and I think that you just have other possible reservation on our date of stay and you tried to make more money from us. When I was not responding, you tried to play it on Booking but I am not a fool. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS ACCOMMODATION OR AT LEAST...
