Our recent stay at this property was far from pleasant. While we hoped for a lovely experience, it turned out to be quite the opposite.

Accommodation Issues: The bathroom shower door was a major problem. Water leaked all over the bathroom floor every time we showered, creating a slippery and unsafe environment. The toilet was another significant issue; it required flushing multiple times, which was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient.

Limited Supplies: The management's policy on supplies was baffling. They provided only one roll of toilet paper and two sets of towels for our entire four-day stay. When we requested additional toilet paper and fresh towels, we were flatly refused. This level of stinginess and lack of basic amenities is unacceptable for any guest, especially for a multi-day stay.

Location: The location was another downside. The property is situated far from key attractions and amenities. We found ourselves spending too much time and money on transportation just to get to places of interest. If you value convenience and being close to the action, this is definitely not the place for you.

Porto is a very hilly city. Do yourself a favour and look for accommodation that is better managed and more...

Positive: Excellent condition and cleanliness. It has all the amenities that you need. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood so peaceful night sleep isn't an issue.

Negative:

Pillows - very uncomfortable. Location - this is something to consider. This isn't an issue for me personally and hence why it doesn't affect my rating of the property. If you love walking (and uphill) then this is fine for you. If you have mobility issues and rely on public transportation during ur visit, then perhaps spend a little more money to stay centrally near the river. Porto...

I had very bad experience in this Hotel of LovelyStay. There is a restaurant just next to it, and it is really noisy overnight. I and my wife couldn’t sleep well every night when we lived here. The door and the windows isn’t able to isolate noise at all. It is ridiculous to have a door made of a single layer glass, because it is not safe and one can hear clearly the conversation in the restaurant. I suggest everyone avoid LovelyStay. And I will absolutely give a bad comment on Booking.com, that was where...
