Oporto City View - Santo Ildefonso Lovely — Hotel in Porto

Very bad experience:

-There is essentially no water pressure. -It's quite dirty and run down -The beds are hard as rock -There are no fire alarms and no alternative exits

I went to talk to the company about these issues and they fully admit knowing about them. They clearly state that the owners have been told about the water pressure but it's not mandatory to have an extra pump in a 3-story building. They basically indicate they try to maximize profit without investing in this building, and "there's nothing they can do about it".

They also literally said that "luxury apartments" should only be seen as a name, not a description...

The lack of smoke alarms bothered me most. We've seen a fire in the street nearby and how quickly that spreads in these old homes. The only way out here is through a narrow hallway 3 floors down, and if a fire happened here you basically die in your sleep of smoke inhalation. A risk that could be avoided with a €30 smoke detector, but no, "It's not...

Nos alojamos en Feb 2025, NO INFORMAN QUE ES POR ESCALERA , tremendo nos toco 2do piso son 4 escaleras, fuerte olor a cloaca, muy antiguo y por ende ruidoso, si sube o baja alguien las escaleras te vas a enterar, el agua caliente dura 5 minutos o menos, esta armadito bien, el concepto departamento de lujo es sòlo un slogan dicho por ellos mismos en la atención de al lado, una especie de front desk, super informal. El balcon tremendo y las fotos no son de esos departamentos sino "otros" aunque el mobiliario y el estilo es similar. cuando fui a plantearles las cosas, no le importo y dijo PORTUGAL ES ASI.. tenes que averiguar vos el tema de la escalera. Realmente un delirio. No suelo poner malas calificaciones, prefiero a veces no escribir, pero esto fue demasiado. pd: el Citiview de Lisboa estaba mucho...

Wonderful apartment easily fit 4 guys. Couch pulls out into a bed as well. Tv and kitchen, great shower. Office of owners is next door so readily available. Tons of food and cafes around and a 20 min walk to the boardwalk of Duoro River....
