Today, I visited the Ard Canaan Restaurant for the first time, bringing guests from outside Qatar to dine at a Palestinian restaurant. I chose this restaurant, and I have the following observations: (Note: The bill was 4,065 riyals.) Three tables were reserved as agreed upon, but unfortunately, the room was unair-conditioned and the temperature was high. When we asked the room manager to increase the air conditioning, he told us that the air conditioning is centrally controlled by Katara management and that they have no authority over it! The service in the room was extremely poor. I had to stand around searching for a waiter several times to order anything, even though the room was almost empty and there were only 2-3 other customers. The amount of bread served with the order was very limited. Water was served in large containers with plastic cups, not glass. Orders were not distributed as agreed upon between the women's and men's tables, which led to confusion and poor distribution of food between the tables. The fact that the three tables were separated—one for men, one for children, and one for men—was exploited. Two dishes we hadn't ordered were served to the women's table, and the number of potato dishes was increased from two to five without consulting us. After ordering coffee and desserts after the main course, the coffee was served without desserts, and the desserts arrived late after we had finished them. Tea was served as a courtesy, and we were surprised to find it on the bill.

Read moreArd Canaan offers an exquisite Arabic luxury ambiance that is both authentic and warmly inviting. The interior design is truly remarkable, with meticulous attention to detail—even the washroom exudes opulence, featuring a gilded sink and vintage-style lamp, transporting guests to the serene atmosphere of an Arabian Mansion. The staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and hospitality throughout our entire visit. We were graciously served complimentary tea presented in the traditional Arabic manner, accompanied by a graceful pouring ritual that elevated the experience. The bread was impeccably fresh, soft, and flavorful, generously replenished without our prompting. Every aspect of our visit made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
The restaurant’s prime location directly to the right of the Katara Amphitheatre (Katara Cultural Village), with views overlooking the Doha Sea, further enhances the luxurious experience and makes it easy to find. Our visit was thoroughly delightful, and we wholeheartedly recommend Ard Canaan to anyone seeking exemplary service and an immersive cultural dining journey. Truly worth...
