Magister SEVEN — Hotel in Sibiu

Me and my wife have travelled to Sibiu 3-4 times a year in the last 6 years. Magister 7 appeared as an opportunity for us while searching for a location which accepts Vacation Vouchers and has an EV Charger. (2 x 11 AC Type 2 actually). It's 1 minute Walking from the Grand Square and Carrefour express. I am a gadget freak so I was automatically impressed by the us of code locks for everything starting with the Property Car Gates, to the room, 2022 Generation Samsung Smart tv-s , high speed internet, and Nespresso Pod Coffee Machine. The Room had a great size King Bed, an amazing Bathroom with Rain Shower and a fridge full of soft drinks. On the complementary list, we had fruit , still and sparkling water. Let's not forget the fresh Tulips we found on the desk in the room. Breakfast is pay at the property and it is in one word: Amazing. From Meat Lover to Vegan, you will find an assortment of cheeses, meats, quiches, salamis and a multitude of house bread. Especially loved the freshly made Pavlova that morning. Parking can be outside the property under City Guidelines, or Inside (6 parking spots) if you reserve in advance at an additional cost. For the cherry on top: The location offers a Lounge with 2 floors(One is a Basement) where you can hang out, listen to some good music and grab a cold SB Beer or some Wine from the Self-Serve fridge. I loved that lounge so much ,I'm considering going back just to spend a couple of hours coding, reading, listening to music..or whatever I feel makes sense. This is an absolute gem. So long as it’s in your budget, and you don’t mind the creaky wooden staircases of an ancient listed building constructed directly on the old town walls, it would be a mistake even to consider staying anywhere else in Sinaia. ||The reason it is listed as a 3-star hotel is simply that it is too small to meet the criteria for more. The quality of the room and the whole experience is better than most 5 star hotels. ||In general, it is difficult for a hotel to depart from norms without sacrificing quality in the cause of novelty. This one succeeds spectacularly. The breakfast, made almost entirely from home cooking by the owner, was not only wonderful but completely different from any other hotel breakfast. It was certainly incomparably superior to the breakfasts I had in two four-star hotels I visited in Romania.||They have achieved the same thing with the room design. The décor and furniture is nothing less than a work of art, idiosyncratic and tasteful, in every detail. In places the style is antique but everything in the rooms is modernised to a high standard.||The location is perfect. The owners are a really lovely couple who take an enormous pride in their hotel and a genuine interest in your happiness while you visit. It’s worth returning to Sibiu just to come back...

Words can't even describe this hotel. So we stayed here 3 nights during the Artmania festival. The location is great being right next to 'Piata Mare' and there's also a Carrefour market next to it in case you need anything. The rooms are EXTREMELY clean, I'm talking here literally spotless, it was amazing. The rooms are also cleaned daily which was amazing. They also have a terrace next to the roof that has an amazing view over the city. Even though it's right next to 'Piata Mare' it's very quiet, the walls are very thick so we didn't hear any of the other people that stayed in adjacent rooms. The owners were amazing, they're genuinely nice people that love to get to know other people and interact with them. They are also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the local area. There are a couple of parking spaces (these have to be booked together with the room and are not included in the room's price). The parking is in the interior courtyard and they have cameras and a barrier. I would give 25 stars in this review, but I can't so 5 it is with the ultimate recommendation to stay here if you're looking for an amazing accommodation smack dab in the middle of the historic center.
