It's a huge rip off and everything is extremely over priced. The salad cost ~15 Lei but the portion is so tiny with only a few leaves that I wonder whether it's just a side dish on the side of the main dish. The soup is not even warm anymore. It's the most expensive Romanian restaurant i have been but the taste is just mediocre. Don't know why it's got such a high rating on Google and maybe the owner mobilized all his friends and families to push up the rating. The menu they provided on Google map is not the actual menu they gave in the restaurant: the price is much higher in the restaurant than what the Google menu says and a lot of dishes on the Google menu are not really served in the restaurant. The service is also bad and the waitress doesnt speak English and she didn't even give me cutlery coz I only ordered soup and salad? So they just scammed the tourists using fake advertisement on Google map to come to the restaurant. If you don't want to waste money for mediocre cooking, don't choose this restaurant.
-After reading the reply from the owner---* As you can see from the reply from the owner, he/she has no intention taking the feedback from the customer and improve the service. But instead, he/she is very defensive and starts attacking me. That should give you a good idea over the customer service from the restaurant. To refute his defense:
First of all, of course you can see the price on the menu after you are tricked by the prices on their google menu which is much lower than the actual price they charge at the restaurant. It's already too late because you already made the effort finding the restaurant and sitting down. That is simply dishonest. Then you can charge the salad with 15 Lei which can ve a very reasonable price if you serve a decent portion. But they serve a tiny side dish size with ~10 leaves and one slice lemon and that they call it salad. That's just very scamming.
Second the service from the waitress. My boyfriend speaks Romanian but she didn't even give me cutlery when she put salad and soup in front of me. Was i supposed to eat food using hands? Later on, we asked for cutlery and she gave them to me without any apology. Whenever we need anything, it takes ages for her to respond to us
Lastly, when I say it is the most expensive restaurant i have visited duringy entire trip for 5 weeks in Romanian, i was referring to both the quantity and quality of the food as well as the service level of restaurants and this one is just worst on all three angles. We had a wonderfully bad experience going to this place, after it as recommended. There's this one guy there - sort of a manager, i suspect - that believes he's the center of the universe and every single costumer is out to get him. He bad mouthed everyone that left, while we were there. Funnily enough, he bad mouthed us too, as we were leaving, for telling him that's rather unpleasant to have a person from the service staff go around swearing and puffing at everything. Maybe it wasn't his best day. It definitely didn't get any better after that though. To be fair, our waitress - although a bit lacking in confidence - did her best. The food, the utensils and the drinks..were like the mood on the unfriendly guy, as follows: a tasteless lemonade in which the tap water provided the most "flavor" a still-smelling water glass for sparkling water a cold platter with horrible "sunca" and cold re-heated "jumari". the pickles "salad" was a mere assembly of "can't be asked to chop those" cucumber, tomato and 1/4 of a pepper. cold rice for a duck dish. The duck was dry and very fat. rustic potatoes that were cold, soggy and tasteless. Looked and tasted as if they were cooked a week before. a joke of a chicken breast dish (a slice of melted cheese on top of a piece of dry, but dripping piece of chicken is what "gratinat" means here) the cold polenta that came for a stew was without salt. the bread was somewhat fresh, but not entirely cooked through. the place was filled with flies and there were empty boxes lying around on the floor.

And end out I have to pay 17 lei more cuz they give me two salade which i though is the egg plant salade and the paper salade . And ends out he told me that i order two egg plant salade which i didn’t order at all!!
And he insist i order two salade which i didn’t at all!
So being a visitor here , it is really a bad experience.

And please be rational, a waitress making a wrong order of my fd food , and miss an ingredient (egg,initially and he give it back at the end) for our food. You are still thinking that your waitress are making a right order for my food or did no mistake for my order? Which I didn’t order and accusing me ordering it? And pls tell your manager to be honest and tell the truth. I only point it at the eggplant and pepper salads, you just flam me again.
