Pensiunea Endlich Zuhause Sibiu — Hotel in Sibiu

No customer service! We rented three rooms, 2 regular and the apartment. When we got there there were only to non-Romanian or English-speaking ladies. The only language they tried to communicate was Russian. We managed to understand some basic things like the payment was only cash, and they pointed to the wifi password. Everything was fine with the two rooms but in the apartment the a/c was not working. We tried to communicate without any success. They finally understood that there is an issue and they pointed to two phone numbers. I tried calling both but one was not answering and the other one was a lady saying that she is out of town and we should only communicate with the person not answering the phone. The apartment if very nice but, with the a/c not working, when we got back to the apartment, the room was really hot. We tried sleeping with all the windows open but it did not cool enough overnight, even though outside was pretty cool. When we finally got an answer to the second phone number, the person told us that nobody complained before so there is nothing he can do. The downside of just sleeping with the windows open was that the two ladies were always sitting in the yard and smoking 24/7, so a lot of cigarette smoke got into...

I kept in touch with the property beforehand on the booking.com messenger service which was great for confirming arrival times etc. The property had a number of rooms and was larger than I expected with many overlooking the courtyard. ||My room was absolutely fine with a hugely comfortable bed, aircon, large wardrobe and compact en-suite bathroom with a small shower cubicle and shower gel was provided. The lighting was great in the room but would possibly benefit from having a couple of bedside lamps. There was maintenance taking place above my room but this was carried out during reasonable times and did not affect my stay at all.||I was very impressed with my stay at Endlich Zuhause, it is in such a good location, about 10 minutes walk to the historic centre and and a similar distance from Gara Sibiu. We were lied about our booking order We booked a double room but instead they gave us a twin room without the conditions that were specified on booking site. A red flag!!! Because after we encountered this we saw that there were another persons who were in this situation too. The trick is that they sell you a nice room but there you are receiving another one....
