Hotel Atria — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Atria during our wedding trip to Romania, and it truly exceeded every expectation.

First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Nestled in the heart of Brasov , it allowed us to be close to everything we needed while still enjoying a sense of peace and exclusivity. It was the perfect base for such a special time in our lives.

The vibe of the hotel is exceptional—a beautiful balance between modern comfort and welcoming warmth. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The interiors are stylish and thoughtfully designed, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and relaxing.

The staff deserves special mention. They went above and beyond for us during such an important occasion, always helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made sure our stay was seamless and stress-free. Their hospitality truly made a difference.

And then, of course, the breakfast—probably one of the most elaborate and impressive spreads we’ve experienced in all our travels. From fresh local specialties to international classics, there was something for every taste, beautifully presented and constantly replenished. It set the tone for each day in the best way possible.

Very poor stay.

We had multiple bad interactions with a specific receptionist. First, he told us where our rooms were, I asked is there anything else I need to know (where breakfast is, what times it is, WiFi password etc) he just said "No". We then go to our ground floor room to find out our safe isn't working and won't open. When we told the receptionist, expecting a helpful response, we instead got stared at for about 10 seconds before he replied "OK". We asked if he could have a look or send someone to repair it and he told us he'd report it. Ok... next day, clearly nothing had been done, no attempt to fix. We asked him again if someone could have a look or we get a replacement, again we just got a deflected response (no replacements, no one can come and repair it etc). So we spent entire stay on the ground floor without a safe, and our window was able to fully open.

To make matters worse, on the second night we inspected our bed sheets to find loads of hair scattered all over, this was clearly not our hair. We had to ask for new bedsheets and put them on ourselves. We also had about 4 flies in our room which weren't there when we left the room that morning... very odd.

Very friendly staff, pet friendly location, nice cozy, clean rooms, great location, good breakfast (not amazing as in some descriptions, but good and more than enough), great dessert (looked like a home made fruit cake, congrats to chef) Suggestions: some ear sticks and makeup remover disks would be nice at this type of hotel, not just shower caps and shower gel, body lotion, which are great, too (and were provided) Also, I believe taht is first 4 star hotel taht did not have bathrobes in the room (maybe are availabele upon request) The towels were nice, good quality and room was cleaned the next day (we have stayed 2 nights) Although a bit pricey, I would recommend and would visit again, because of nice location, cleanliness, friendly staff and...
