Mark Residence — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

Mark Residence is an apartment in old town Brasov. Andrew the owner is very friendly and communicates well to ensure that everything is good. He actually has 2 apartments, an efficiency and a 1 bedroom. We stayed in the 1bedroom. The old house was built in the 17th century and is very rustic, but the interior build out is modern. Everything was comfortable. Andrew also owns a pub around the corner called Jamaica. Your breakfast which is included is served at the pub. The only hiccup is that as a pub it is really more of a bar than a restaurant. Which means that he is not open and staffed to cook anything until 10am, maybe he could swing 9am with prior consent. This wasn't a big deal for us, we are on vacation so we slept in a little longer. One day we went to the bear sanctuary (which is only open early) so we missed breakfast. Bummer, because it was pretty good. ||||The only downside to this place is parking. This is not Andrew's fault, anyone with a rent car staying inside the old city will be frustrated with parking. There is none. Andrew is aware of the headache and is eager to help by moving his own car to give you his spot, then he parks who-knows-where. But the beauty and history and accessibility to the old city tourist zone is worth...

One night, special people, great location!|I was really surprised to discover a very nice place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms, great facilities, close to the centre. I strongly recommend it.|Above and beyond...
