This place is clean, comfortable and affordable. We had a room with balcony, which offered us a great view, directly to the city and surrounding mountains.||Staff was always present and ready to offer us drinks.||The room was cozy, with a large and quite comfortable bed and a very clean bathroom.||Everything went perfect.||We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and peaceful place.||||But be careful, the building has no elevator. Also, and this is very important, if you are not into climbing, it can be challenging to get there in the first place. There is a road that only goes up until the entrance to the yard (which also has parking spaces - a plus). I'm not sure how much time it takes to go up this road until finding the place, cause we were traveling with a car. On the other hand, it can be pleasant to walk up a road surrounded by forest and incredibly fresh air, if you are into it. It's...
Read moreWe stayed at the Warthe for 3 nights. Our room had a large balcony, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent, the grounds were beautiful, and the building was full of green plants. The staff were helpful and spoke excellent English.||There was no air conditioner, but it wasn't needed, at least in mid-June, it was cool at night. There was also no refrigerator or kettle. Note, too, that the pensiunea does not have an elevator, and does not have disabled access.||If you take a taxi to the hotel, you'll go along a somewhat winding highway with no sidewalk. That is not the path to take to walk into town. There is a steep cobbled road from the Warthe all the way to the gate to the old city, it takes about 7 minutes to walk down and 10 to walk up, and is much shorter and safer than the highway route. It is a strenuous uphill walk, but doable, and there are always taxis if the hill...
Read moreThe room was spacious enough, but bland, lacking personality, with cheap-looking furniture and smelling funny (probably the rug). It had a king-size comfortable bed, a wardrobe with shelves and hangers, a little table for luggage, a desk & chair. The bathroom was ok, with a shower cabin. ||The balcony didn’t have any separator from the neighbour one, lacking intimacy and there was no furniture for sitting.||The view is superbe, you can see Tampa mountain from the balcony. The hallway is luminous and with lots of hanging plants, very nice.||||The owners were friendly and helpful; we had an emergency and had to leave earlier, they were very understanding and canceled our second night without any costs. ||||It’s a green area, a little peripheral, but close to the city center, either on foot (~20 minutes) or by car (5-10 minutes). ||No AC, but didn’t feel the need, WiFi signal was ok. They have a private parking in...
