Hostel 1910 — Hotel in City of Belgrade

The hostel is really nice, cosy, clean and its location is great.||It is situated in Zemun, which is in my opinion better option than staying in the centre.||There are buses which take you to the centre and a ride takes 10 minutes.||Zemun is really nice part of town , Gardoš is near, which is old, artistic kind of area. The river Danube is 5 minutes on foot from the hostel and there is a range of restaurants...all down the river bank. We rented bikes and rode from Zemun to Ada Ciganlija which was an amazing ride. ||So, location is really great.||Hosts / owners are great! Very nice, friendly, helpful...they help you with everything you need! Real hosts!||||We had a family room and it was very nice, clean, spacious.Beds are comfortable and big enough.||This room has even a small balcony...cute one, which overlooks the street. ||It is quiet during the night, despite overlooking the street. ||All in all...this hostel is definitely...

Very friendly and affordable accomodation in New Belgrad. For old town you have to travel a bit, but since public transport is now totally free (since 01/2025), it's only about hopping to the nearest bus or epic old tram and get near any location.

Yet I have to a little note: My second night sleep was interrupted by the owner Ivana having loud conversation (argument?) with other guy at 2:30! I went to ask her to keep it quieter, which she did, however it took almost 1 hour for me to sleep again with the even lower noise coming from the basement. It's a small house where you can easily hear anything. Also it's said to be non-smoking interior, however the owner smokes inside in the lobby and the smell is all over the hall upstairs.

On the other side I appreciate the simplicity of the check-in/out, and air conditioning in the room, which was a must in these two...

Great hostel in the center of Zemun. I payed for private room but owner gave me whole apartment with balcony, toilet and kitchen. Great stay i had, also owner gave me his parking place for my car. Good wifi, cable tv, hot water, everything is close to hostel, shops, market, Danube, restaurants, Gardos tower, bus stations for all directions. I forgot to say about two lovely dogs of owner, they are waiting you on the door to welcome you :) I'll stay again in this nice hostel again for sure!...
