Nevski Hotel — Hotel in City of Belgrade

a well located hotel about 15 min walk from the downtown/city center. a 15 min cab ride to the waterfront.

booked this hotel because of its secure garage parking which is important considering parking and theft issues in the city.

service at the reception is very polite and helpful. they were happy to suggest good food options as well as what to do in the city. also to call you a cab.

we had a double room on the 5th floor with a shower. rooms are big with a king size bed, a small sofa and a large cabinet. the bed was big but not comfortable because the frame was hard and cutting into the legs when getting out of it. also not enough sockets for charging devices. air-conditioning was loud and needs to be serviced or changed as most of the time it was making creaking sounds.

the bathroom in the room is small and has absolutely no hooks, hangars or any racks apart from a rusty one around the sink. the shower was full of mould and the frame damaged in several places. shower had no holder for the showerhead and there was no place to put soap or any gels.

breakfast was surprisingly ok with a decent spread and some local fare. highlight for me was the banana bread and the coffee from a proper coffee machine with beans.

EUR 264 for 3 nights with breakfast, parking and taxes is a very good value. if not were for the issues with bathroom, bed and AC, this would be a good 3 star hotel. it is definitely not 4 star as they...

we have stayed 4 nights at nevsky hotel family room. the staff is great and positive. the hotel has very good parking with extra payment of 10 euro per night.|we got a large family room so the kids has their own room. first impression was bad smell in the room like it was not refreshed alot of time. the sheets had also some bad smell like smoking.all that was gone from second night. the toilet is very small and the toilet bowl has not enough space to sit comfort. the room has a kitchen that is almost empty from any instruments so not so usable. |the breakfast is fine until you understand it is the same one every day with no changes. but the most bad thing in it was the luck of air conditioning there in the middle of summer. you see people eat while sweating. it seems they have air condition but they keep it off.|the hotel location is not optimal but a 1 km walk from the main...
