Boutique Slovakia Residence — Hotel in Košice

Overall a nice hotel close to the centre. However, we had one particularly bad experience. My work colleagues were staying at the hotel. However, the electronic card they were given to enter the room and the hotel turned out to be dysfunctional the next day. So late at night (a cold November night), my colleagues could not get into the hotel. We repeatedly called the emergency number from three phones as well as all the numbers listed on the website. No one answered. Even calling the police didn't help. In the end, my colleagues had to sleep in another hotel (where I was staying). The next day, the hotel apologized to them and didn't include the sleepless night in the price. However, it seemed to me a small satisfaction for the trouble and stress they caused. I want to thank the receptionist from the hotel across the street, who at least gave us temporary shelter at the front desk and was willing to deal with the matter. He told us that nothing like this happens there and that we were the first guests to have such a thing happen to our hotel entry-card. So it was a random, yet unpleasant incident. I have been a regular visitor to Kosice for years, and I have stayed many times at all the main hotels - DoubleTree, Bristol, Yasmin, Kosice Hotel, etc, but this was my first time here, and we were very impressed.||||Staff will take care of you when you arrive, and for nighttime access there is a door card reader outside the main door. Our room was a very nice surprise, modern, very clean and lots of style and character, the exposed bricks looked great. Adequate sized shower room which was modern and very clean. No view, we looked out into the central internal courtyard which looks down to restaurant tables, but that was not an issue for us. ||||Breakfast is cooked to order and was very tasty.||||Wifi excellent, strong and reliable connection.||||For parking, we used the multi storey next to the Double Tree, it is only 5 minutes walk away.||||We will stay here...

Lovely modern boutique hotel. The bedrooms are located on the first floor through a roofed courtyard, but one side is open, so it could be chilly in winter, with some restaurant tables in this area.|The Steak restaurant below the rooms are very busy and the aromas of steak cooking from the kitchen 😋 |Very clean rooms, great power shower, towels change as you want. TV, did not use tea/coffee, fridge with drinks and snacks to buy. Air con and very comfy king bed.|The breakfast is served 7am- 10am off the courtyard with plenty of choice and replenished often. Hot items are cooked to order, one choice of either ham & eggs, omelette, scrambled egg, grilled sausages, hot dogs, or oatmeal.|Location is great, 2 mins to the centre strip where various bars, cafes and restaurants you will be spoiled...
