Lion's View — Hotel in Camps Bay

We rented this apartment for a month and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s not new but well maintained. It has all necessary equipment for cooking, dishwasher, modern washing machine with a dryer. Gas fireplace kept us warm in cold days. The owner Elize is very friendly and nice host always ready to help. She provided us a detailed instruction for the easiest table mountain hike and organized in-home massage the same day we have requested even the time was really short and it was a holiday. Once again staying at Lionshead View Cottage in Cape Town in Virginia Street 19 Vredehoek. Spacious 2 bedroomed groundfloor cottage with a garden with a view of Table mountain and Lionshead. Within walking distance of main attractions like Company Gardens, Table Mountain and the best street for restaurants, Kloof Street in Tamboerskloof. Close to an independent movie theatre with art movies, the best smallish shopping centre Gardens Shopping Centre with excellent boutiques and a well stocked book store. Lion's View was the perfect home for a large group of friends and family during a family wedding trip to Cape Town. The faciltiies were excellent (although the pool was a bit chilly for some) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great that Camps Bay itself was within easy walking distance - although a long flight of steps up after a good meal on the waterfront ws a challenge!
