KingsBeach Cottages — Hotel in Eastern Cape

In January 2025 going to February 2025, recently had the pleasure of staying at Kings Beach Cottages in Gqeberha, and I must say, it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the incredibly friendly and warm staff who made me feel right at home. Their hospitality was second to none, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my stay.

The setup of the cottages was fantastic. The aesthetics of the place were nothing short of marvelous. I loved the design and feel of the space everything about it felt thoughtfully put together, and it truly enhanced my experience. The unit I stayed in had the most stunning view of the Indian Ocean from the first floor. Watching the ships sail by and the busy port activities below was a real treat. At night, the port lit up with a sea of lights, creating a spectacular, almost magical view that left me in awe. It was a beautiful contrast of nature and civilization, and I found myself taking it all in every chance I got.

The cottage itself was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything I could have asked for. The inbuilt braai (barbecue) and fireplace were perfect for cozying up and making the most of the evenings, and the large fridge made storing food a breeze. I particularly appreciated the availability of cutlery, which made it so much easier to enjoy meals and truly feel at home. Honestly, it was like a 'hallelujah' moment everything I could need was right there.

One of the standout features of my stay was the exceptional service. They went above and beyond in assisting with the couriering of packages I needed in advance, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make my stay perfect truly made a difference.

Additionally, the location of Kings Beach Cottages couldn't have been better. The area is vibrant yet peaceful, offering the perfect blend of relaxation and easy access to local attractions. Whether you’re looking to explore the natural beauty of the surroundings or just enjoy a quiet, tranquil retreat, this place provides the best of both worlds.

In summary, Kings Beach Cottages in Gqeberha exceeded all expectations. The friendly staff, breathtaking views, and top-notch facilities made for a perfect stay. I left with nothing but gratitude and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, well-appointed getaway with a view that will stay with you long...

Harbour Cottages, 19 Cathcart Road, Humewood, Gqeberha, made our stay so special, from the moment of booking to check in to staying, by the time we left they felt almost like family. Thank you to Jimmy or Luke with the booking it was fast and professional, thank you to Ruan for giving us a warm welcome and a special thank you to Irla and Venessa for making our breakfast mornings outstandingly awesome. Venessa is such a mom, she cooks with her heart and it was displayed in the breakfast spreads, oh and when I say spread... my word, talk about five star breakfast with an extra something special. Everyone at the guesthouse was awesome and thank you to the cleaners for checking in to see if we needed anything, we appreciate you. If we find ourselves in Gqeberha again we will definitely choose you again. The two army girls enjoyed their stay....

I have a few disappointing points about this place.

You cannot listen to music outside. You can't be in the pool at night. Like why weren't we told this before booking. I mean it's Festive season and we obviously booked the the place to enjoy ourselves, we not allowed to braai. So what did I pay for this venue if it feels my parents are still repre manding us. This is pathetic service.

I don't know who the Indian guy is, but the moment we want to do something stopping us everytime. We even cleaned the pool earlier when we checked in.. why didn't they tell us we can't use the pool at night.

I will unfortunately not recommend this place to people. Mind you I have visited many guest houses before and non of them had this...
