Hermanus Boutique Guest House — Hotel in Overstrand Local Municipality

Our family of four had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hermanus Boutique Guest House. From the moment we arrived, we were given a warm welcome that made us feel instantly at home. The location is perfect — right opposite the sea and the stunning cliff walk, making it perfect for relaxing strolls and wonderful ocean views.||The staff were consistently pleasant and professional, always going out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our family room was spacious, well appointed with, amongst other things, air conditioning if required and a spa bath, and provided exactly what was needed after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the daily happy hour, which was a lovely touch and a perfect way to unwind in the comfortable lounge or dining area.||Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — an excellent selection of fresh fruit salad, delicious pastries, and a full cooked breakfast to get the day off in the right way. We also appreciated the flexibility of being able to come and go as we pleased, knowing that nothing was ever too much trouble for the team.||We highly recommend Hermanus Boutique Guest House to couples, families, and groups looking for a comfortable, well-located, and welcoming place to stay while exploring all that Hermanus has to offer. We had such an amazing stay at Hermanus Boutique Guest House. First, the location cannot be beat. It is only a short walk to the center of town, but more importantly it is directly on the sea. The views are absolutely stunning. We stayed in the Penthouse, and I can only say the photos online do not do this room justice. It is incredibly spacious, with a separate sitting area. The bed is huge and the windows provide an unobstructed version of the stunning views I already mentioned. What a way to start your day! Then, there is a soaking tub big enough for two. And finally your own separate steam shower with a bench. Finally, the service is impeccable. The minibar was fully stocked, and we were offered whatever we desired from it. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was very tasty. We had to leave very early on the day of check out, and as it was before breakfast officially began they offered to pack us things to go.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. I don’t think I would even consider staying anywhere else when I return...

Only when the full amount had been paid did they inform us their system had cancelled our booking.||Apparently "THE SYSTEM" sent us an email!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!||Never received it.||The owners need to think before coming back with some trumped up excuse.||1. We were told the reservation had been made.||2. I asked if they required a deposit, was told that we only had to pay in full a month before.||3. If I had received the so called system email and not responded WHY would we have paid the full amount???????????????????????????????????||System are only as good as the people who mange them. Obviously the system here manages the people.||Having had this experience we are so glad our International Guests will not have to stay here.||Now wondering how long it takes to get our full payment back so we can...
