Room: 1/5. The room have got no aircon. We initially booked the no sea view room and was offered an upgrade charge of R250 for a seaview room. Upon entering the room, we realised there is no air-con at all. To make things worst, there is only a mini table fan. The fan is more of a heater than an actual fan. We have to choose between keeping the sliding door open throughout the night or close it so we, don't hear the noises outside, but, you got to stay sweaty for the latter. The ceiling light for the room is very dim. The bedside lamps does not compensate for the lack of brightness.. extremely disappointed for the price we have paid for ... Door access: 1/5 Old school key style door. There is no door lens for you. One need to carry a key throughout their stay.. Bed: 2/5 Pillows are out of shape. It is similar to those when you washed it and did not dry properly. Clumpy cotton. Maybe if they provide a decent pillows, it really would elevate the experience. Room Toilet: 2.5/5 Extractor fan is very noisy with a rattle when the light is on. The shower head is dirty but the water pressure is pretty solid. Moulds and be seen building up at the corner of the screen door.  Bathroom have a weird smell. Carpark: 3/5 There are not enough lots for the number of units. You may have to temporary park your car nearby and keep an eye for an open slot. We did not want to have our car clamp at all. Service: 4/5 Philips was attentive and easy to get hold of. Location: 5/5. Near to malls and eateries. You can walk down to the beach directly from the accommodation. Amenities: 5/5 Basic amenties such as coffee, tea, cups, kettles, shower gel and hand soap, and towels are provided for in the room. Do bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. There is a microwave at level 2 for guests to warm their food up. It is definitely a nice touch.

A breathtaking piece of heaven right on the beach! You’re so close to the water it looks like the waves are coming right for you. It was glorious! Sunset chaser deluxe! The WiFi is strong and never dropped. It is neat and clean. I like the decor and colour scheme. Nice and calming and matches that beautiful ocean. The deck on the roof gives even better breathtaking views! There is a lovely kitchen and seating area, and outside deck to relax with a cup of coffee or good book etc. We never met any staff, it was ‘self check-in/out’. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is because the rooms are very small. Usually if I have views like that I don’t mind, it’s an easy trade off; but worth mentioning if it’s something you’re looking for. They also just need a little maintenance- the laminate floors in my room had separated from the floor. The bathroom accessories have not been replaced so the toilet paper rolls are left to stand on the plastic bin; and our towels were not replaced every morning. However! I would like to stay there again, I really do highly recommend it! You just can’t beat views like that.

It is clear that this accommodation is kept to a high standard. The overall cleanliness and quality of service was exceptional. We found the staff to be incredibly welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was great. There are a few things that really added to the value of our stay here. Langebaan Beach Towers is situated in a safe boomed-off estate with convenient access to different shops and restaurants both just outside the estate and within walking distance on the beach. It is right on the beach (a private beach might I add!) with an unrivaled view and easy beach access - you literally wake up to the sound of the waves. Special mention also goes to how loadshedding is managed at the accommodation. It hardly affected us at all as you are still able to turn on the main lights, access the wifi and turn the TV on. We had a marvellous stay!

Edited to 1 star due to snotty reply from the owner, goes to show their standard and care.

Tiny apartments packed one on top of the other. You can hear your neighbours talk, watch tv, not relaxing at all. The seaviews and sounds were great but having your neighbour less than a meter away chatting loudly on their balcony isn't. Breakfast for 3 days at R1000? LOL!! The omelette was good and the breakfast chef was super welcoming and offered a few vegetarian options which were tasty! For the price is was underwhelming. The main manager, Maralie, was wonderful, welcoming and gave great suggestions for things to do and see. Most of the staff were friendly except for the morning we needed toilet paper, waited a good 15mins and had to send my partner down twice. With one bathroom this isn't ideal. A few staff are oblivious to you and will not greet or even look at you, even after saying hello yourself. Overall will...
