Dockside Diner Club Mykonos — Restaurant in Saldanha Bay Local Municipality

We used to come to Langebaan every year for vacation and even when we didn't stay at Mykonos, our go to restaurant was always Dockside - we would chill for hours on end. That's why, when we eventually returned to Langebaan there was no doubt that we will be eating at Dockside. To our extreme dissapointment. Some of the seafood on the seafood pizza was tough and tasted like there was cheese sauce added to the pizza, even after about ten minutes the pizza was still soggy. The fries was blond and not crispy at all. My calamari was tough and rubbery, it even slipped out of my hand while I was trying to bite through it. The hake (as mentioned in a few previous reviews) tasted as if though it was cooked from frozen and it was not cooked through. We sent it back and at that time the trust in getting proper food was at an all time low that we didn't order a replacement. The kegtails tasted weak and the strawberry mojito was garnished with frozen fruit.

The only reason why we ate the food was, because we were extremely hungry after traveling so far (seeing that CCTV footage are checked to determine whether food was finished and based on that a determination of "tasty food" is made). We also finished the kegtails, because we didn't want to be seen as wanting "freebies".

All in all a 1 star experience at a restaurant that once presented with a 5...

What a terrible place to dine with your family. We ordered x2 Mexicana Pizza's .We were told that there is no meat, at first ,we didn't think anything funny about it until the table next to us was getting Mexicana pizza. We asked the waiter about it , he just said :" that's what they told him." We asked to speak to manager, which he replied:" He is currently in charge". We asked to have the number of the owner. We called the owner and she replied:" my apologies, apparently they were busy making the mince and the mince they had, they chose to whom they would give it to. "She knows it's wrong, should be first come firts serve. In other words, sorry you were not chosen. This kind of service is unacceptable. Feeling very disappointed on how they do business.

The best is to come! The owner actually phoned me now, she cursed at me and refuted my claim ,saying "never f#### come to dockside) Your one star is now 0!

Really thought your phone call was to apologize, ( you didn't) just shouting and swearing you should of offer to come again and that you would make sure our treatment would be different and then asked to remove the review ,which I would do so with no hesitation.
