Minserie Collection — Hotel in Stellenbosch Local Municipality

Fantastic spot for a short or long term stay in Stellenbosch. The location is perfect for short walks to Stellenbosch University or the downtown restaurants and shopping. The location is also suitably close to hiking trails in the surrounding area. I also felt very safe during the time I was there.

I also cannot say enough about the housekeeping staff. I was there for a longer-term stay, and the head housekeeper took such good care of me during my stay. She regularly wished me well as I was heading out in the morning and asked how my day was when I got back. I really appreciated the hospitality in addition to the functional service aspect of things.

I stayed in Classic Room #3, so the photos are representative of that. I did find when booking that the photos on the website were somewhat generic, and I had a bit more success finding more representative photos via 3rd party sites. In any case, the photos here are Classic Room #3 and the associated outdoor courtyard area.

Among other things, the outdoor shower was fantastic, and I really appreciated the outdoor space to relax / get some work done. The entire property (including parking) is in a fenced in complex of sorts, and the rooms are entered from the outside. There is ample outdoor common space, and I regularly had a chance to say hi to fellow guests using the outdoor spaces.

All in all, while I cannot speak to the other accommodation types, I would absolutely go back and recommend staying at...

What a place. I travel regularly all over the world and this is the best place by far. Awesome rooms, great beds, and the shower, luxury I tell you, luxury. Everything from the bedding, the clean, fluffy towels and the coffee machine is there for your pleasure. Of course there is the flat screen tv, air conditioning and if you prefer, a ceiling fan. The self check in easy, there is ample parking for my car and everything I need is just a short walk down the road into Stellenbosch central. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back. This is the place to stay in...

The location of the hotel is excellent, only about three hundred meters from the heart of Stellenbosch, so you can reach the center in just a couple of minutes on foot. Our apartment on the second floor was very clean and comfortable and offered everything a family might need.
