My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and the service was excellent. They have a special promo for guests who pay in cash so we saved 5% on our booking. They kept our luggages before check-in and after check-out. They also lent us umbrellas because it was raining heavily in Seoul that week. The front staff were fluent in English and very accommodating to us. They always greet us upon arriving and leaving the hotel :) They also suggested places that we should go to. The room is a bit small but it has everything you need. The water pressure is high too, though I wish there was a bidet. The hotel has a rooftop lounge where they provide free coffee, tea, and water. They also have microwave, so you can heat food from convenience store. As for the location, it is near exit 7 of City Hall. Exit 1 is also great option if you have heavy luggages since an escalator is available on that exit. Namdaemun market is nearby, around 5-10 mins by foot. We went there 3-4 times during our stay haha. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. There is a GS25 and 711 near the hotel. I highly suggest trying Kkanbu chicken whilst your staying in the hotel. It is way better than Kyochon. There is also a bus stop near the hotel. I wish I could stay here again, but getting a tourist visa is sooooo hard in Philippines lately. Hope to visit Seoul again in the...
Read moreIf I could go back in time and planned my trip again, hotel first stay would be my only choice of accommodation. I will 100% come back again. Everything was perfect: location, rooms, and service.
The location of the hotel is of walking distance to bus stops and train stations, making travel extra easy and convenient. In addition, it’s close to many wonderful shopping districts and restaurants.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, and has a cozy vibe which is great after a long day out. What impressed me the most was the heated floors. We were first informed that there would be no heating system, which worried me, but the heated floors were more than sufficient.
Despite all that, the highlight of the stay was definitely the service. All the staff were nothing but welcoming and helpful. They would always greet us and ask what they could do to make our stay better. Special mention to the receptionist Yong Jae who made our stay phenomenal. He was extremely friendly, kind and thorough. He took the effort to learn guests’ names and recommend restaurants and activities to do in Seoul. It was hilarious talking with him and it was nice knowing that the hotel had English speakers. Overall, I have never met such a lovely receptionist and would definitely recommend staying at Hotel first stay!!!
Thanks very much for the...
