Decided at last minute to visit La Feria so basically had to take what was available and pet friendly. Pleasantly surprised, a modernish well appointed hotel, conveniently located for the showground and in a nicer part of Jerez.||Reception staff were very nice although not particularly efficient, three receptionists working at a desk in front of which only one guest can stand, hopefully the genius that designed has realised their true vocation lies elsewhere,||We had a nice room on the top floor overlooking the main road and had no sound issues although some interesting views.||Parking garage is a bit small but patience and power steering won the day.||We had a special card to dangle on our door handle informing anyone interested that the room was occupied by a dog. Also, a nice touch, they brought us a dog bed and a dog toy.||A comfortable hotel with nice staff that provided us with an enjoyable stay, Given the choice would probably stay elsewhere but would not object if circumstances dictate that we had to...
Read more. Excellent position.
10-15 minutes stroll to the very centre of town, sited on a very attractive tree-lined avenue, this hotel is even better sited for the annual fair held in May, since it's just a few hundred yards from the fairground. Might be a bit noisy then, now I come to think of it.
The rooms were fine, although not spacious, and there was no mirror anywhere in the room, and no full-length mirror either in the room or the bathroom.
This is a major disadvantage for female guests.
Bathroom was spotless and had good shelf space for your toiletries.
But the whole place was cramped.
Reception was, well, cramped.
The lifts were minuscule - two of us with small suitcases only just fitted in. The corridors were narrow.
And the garage . . .
I have never seen a worse hotel garage.
It only has room for 6 or 7 cars, the entrance is very steep, very narrow, and you have to manoeuvre back and forth, back and forth, to get in or out.
Avoid if you have any car larger than a...
Read moreWhile the room we had was of a good size and clean I was not impressed that there wasn't any form of seating for the lovely terrace. What s the point of a terrace if you cannot sit and enjoy it?
Further to this the 2 lifts are tiny and when the hotel is busy you can wait ages. When you're on the 5th floor thus is an issue.
I would say the hotel is a fair way from the main town taking us about 20 minutes to walk in which isn't bad other then you might want to walk down to the town during the day then return to shower prior to walking back for your meal.
Finally, on the one occasion we wanted to use the bar/restaurants we were told we couldn't as there was a function going on. The hotel does state the bar and restaurant are separate but this accounts for the hotels 4 stars. So if the bar and restaurant are not part of the hotel and clearly not always available to guests (albeit theres a direct access from the hotel) then I would suggest the hotel is...
