3 STAR: Its okay. The price was reasonable and the location to the beach was perfectly fine for us, about a 10 mins walk. Also about 4 mins walk to a great pizza place/ smoothie breakfast place and others.

But the problem seemed to be communication with the management/owners of the apartments. I never saw anyone on site except for cleaners and once they took long to respond I had to contact booking.com to get through to them and the response was just to tell the cleaners to provide us with the facilities that were listed on the booking. When the WiFi kept cutting out we just got an apology - no service in terms of helping us to rectify what the problem was. When I ran a bath the hot water decided to cease half way through so I sat in a luke warm bath lol. There was also damp on the ceiling in the living area which would sometimes drip so we had to move the table (as we were working some of the days).

When we first booked we weren't told about the code for the front door of the complex nor our code to grab the keys from the safe.. we had to phone up and they answered quickly and told us how to get in, but Id assume this info should be provided when we book.

The apt seemed clean but I kept getting spots/bites on my face and neck at night so I steamed the bed and washed the blanket - no more spots. That's concerning considering everything seemed clean and new. I don't know if it was gathered dust/ bugs or something but fresh spots for the first 3 days of the 6 days trip was a bit annoying and definitely ruined the score. WiFi was okay until I needed to work and use for calls. If you're going to work from home from here I wouldn't recommend the WiFi as I had to hotspot.

Other than that it was good. We enjoyed the little get-away / work from home. Apartment was massive for the two of us. A very big apartment with 2 stories for 2 people is very good. I like the size of the garden walls.. quite high so there's a bit of privacy. Walls quite thin so you can hear people. But I definitely think there could have been some improvements. The cost was fairly reasonable (£460 for 6 nights). But it was like an empty house; nothing to wash with nothing...

Just returned from a very nice few days at this complex.||Arrived at 1330 hours on a week day to find entrance door secure. ( which is good as it prevents unwanted visitor). There is a phone number provided to contact reception, who pass the door code to you. ( a problem if you do not use a mobile, rare I know)||Once in, was greeted by a nice young lady who gave me the lock box number for my room B2.||I must say on first impression I was a little disappointed on the approach it was tuck down between two staircases to the up stairs apartments. The seating area probably only get a max of 2 hours sun, but is sheltered from the wind and gives a narrowed view of the pool.||The inside of the apartment was very spacious, with a double and a single bedroom. |All very clean and tidy. Large storage wardrobe in the double, much bigger than I have a home. |Kitchen area is equipped with a ceramic hob, over, microwave and washing machine.|Enough utensils to use, although could do with some mugs, wine and large tumblers. No salt and pepper though. |Bathroom is okay, Just a shower cubicle, but plenty of hot water. Towels were lovely and soft. |The lounge/ diner had a four seater table and a sofa, big enough for 2 adults. There was a smart TV, showing Spanish only programmes, but with a faculty to change the language to the country of origin. Also was able to cast download programmes from my phone and watch the cricket from Youtube. ||The complex had a small pool and kiddie paddling area and plenty of sunbeds. |Next to the complex is a decent supermarket.||The complex in on the edge of town, but only a 10 minutes walk, also the same for the beach. ||I'm not into lively bars and shopping areas, so the resort suited me. |Would I go back to the accommodation, yes, I would, but would try to secure an upper...

The apartments are very nice, our only criticism is of the availability of help when you need it. We arrived after 8pm to check in and there was nobody around. When I called the phone number they gave me codes to get in but the codes weren't working. It took an hour to get somebody to confirm the correct codes to get in. Besides our check in time we'd also requested a cot that wasn't there. We got it the next day. The next time I had to call that number was to find out where to put our bins and the guy said "I'm sorry but I'm only here to take orders for chicken"!! About 3 or 4 times (different days) we were asked for our passports for check in when we'd already given them. Finally, we had to call that number again when we got ourselves locked inside our apartment without a key. Thankfully they only took 45 minutes to rescue us but after our previous experiences with that number it was stressful not knowing if somebody was coming. I called after 30 minutes waiting and the response was "I've left a message with the manager but they haven't responded yet. So having not met anybody the first day when we checked in we spent the next 15 minutes stressing that we were locked in till morning... Everything else was fine but that phone number is really inadequately managed & our booking requests...

Booked through booking.com. and all was easy and one of the maids/manager's sortednus with the key. Only staying 2 nights. We were given room E2 a bottom floor 2 bedroom apartment with a 'cave' like terrace with no sun at all but a view of the pool. If we were staying longer I would have tried to switch to one of the first floor apartments, but for 2 nights for us it's fine. The rooms are big, spacious and very clean. Not sure when our room was used last as had a tobacco type outdoor but some of the cleaning products here can be that type. No fans and no aircon. We are here in Jan and ok at the moment not sure about later months? Not sure if you can hire fans from Reception? large Supermarket next door. 5 min walk to all bars restaurants and beach. Can't miss finding it as first right hand turn in Cotillo. Pool area looks clean and is saltwater. Plenty of sunbeds. There is no food or bar as all units are self catering. On the whole pretty good apartments. We normally stay at the Coral Beach but has no 2 bedroom apartments plus we are travelling ound the island. BIG plus is the price €138 or 2 nights for same apartment anywhere else around €250+. also has key pad entry to complex and ample street parking right oitside.

Update: we gut upgraded to a better apartment. A little far away, with the entrance next to the Superdino, so still no WIFI, and quite loud fans from the mercado. But bigger and lighter apartment with a terrace, so we were happy about the change. Text from before: What a disappointment. The apartments are advertised as "tranquile" but the opposite is the case. Our rooms are facing the main road, where is traffic all day and all night. Unloading trucks of the Superdino are constantly making noise. Impossible to have a window open. At 22pm the Superdino staff finishes work and is having drinks and loud conversations right under our bedroom window. The apartments are supposed to have a terrace but we don't have one. When asking the receptionist, if it is possible to pay more and upgrade to a better and more quiet room, she sais they are fully booked. The free WIFI is only at reception and doesn't reach the apartment. Not much love put into the apartment, just the basics necessities. The sofa is extremely uncomfortable. So all in all its very difficult to get into a relaxing and enjoying holiday mood here.
