Our flight was delayed so arrived about two hours late for check-in but received a warm welcome from the night security manager. |Our Room was on the 7th Floor, there are two lifts available. Rooms have a balcony and are clean & basic – double/twin bedroom with sofa bed in the lounge. Had everything we needed: fridge, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery etc. Do not expect to cook a 3-course meal in the Kitchenette but fine for breakfasts and snacks during the day. There is no air con, so I took two small desk fans with us which were fine. Bathroom is a good size - bath with shower, nice & clean – no mould or cracked tiles. The maid came 3 times to swap towels. |The Pool area is a decent size, there are plenty of sunbeds available, and a lifeguard on each day. The Hotel is Spanish, we were the only English there, but this was no problem; the lifeguard spoke when she passed by and the lady who runs the pool bar was lovely and very accommodating. Plenty of snacks and drinks available from the pool bar - only downside is its closed 2 days a week on her days off.|Location - perfect - great restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by. We caught a taxi down & back to the sea front area as hilly and hot! 5 euros each way so not too bad. Plenty of bars, restaurants down there - but busy.|Recommendations: Did the Mini Golf one night which is a fun way to pass the time. We have done the Water Park, Crododillo Park & Sioux City previously, which are all good fun too .|Restaurants/Bars : Mulligans - live music every evening with something for everyone's tastes! Food is delicious and very reasonable, and so are the Cocktails ;-) |Taberna La Cana - tapas restaurant directly in front of the hotel - amazing tapas - huge portions!|Patio Canario - amazing steak in...
Read moreWe were planning to get away for Christmas 2024 and must admit that we left our booking quite late, We booked in here as a 'Room Only' and had visions of spending Christmas in a one room studio flat. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a kitchen/sitting area, spacious double bedroom and balcony. ||The kitchen consisted of a hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster. ||The room that we were in had a north facing balcony over looking the car park, so not a great view and very little sun.||The swimming pool area is large with a lovely pool bar serving alcohol, soft drinks and food etc and good music to lie back an relax to. ||The way our room was situated, we had the north facing balcony and our bedroom had a south facing high up window which looked out into the tiled hotel corridor which could obviously be quite noisy at times and no chance of seeing the sun. To see the sun, you have to leave the apartment. ||The toilet was nice and clean, the shower was OK, but like a lot of hotel showers ran cold after about 10 minutes. ||The cleaners came in frequently and were very good, the reception was manned 24/7. ||Only thing to bear in mind was that there is no air conditioning or fans. That doesn't matter in December although I would not like to stay here in the height of summer. ||All in all, a lovely clean place and I would stay here again but...
Read moreIf you are coming to this hotel I wouldn’t recommend bringing cash try keep everything on card, me and my partner visited this hotel last week and I had cash in my bag it was not on show or just left out and I got home and realised €60 was missing from my money we had only been there 1 day and they came in without cleaning the room, ino you get what you pay for and the hotel room was okay but even if I had paid €10 a night for the hotel my money should still be there when I got back, another thing is writing on the hotel details it says that there is a hairdryer, there isn’t you have to rent one, for the week I stayed there it was €3 a day and a €10 deposit but when I went to get a hairdryer the receptionist told me there wore none left and to come back on Monday I asked for one on Saturday with soaking wet hair, it wouldn’t of been a big problem if I knew since I could of brought my own but it wasn’t stated anywhere, it also said we would have a toaster but there was none in our room and there was no kettle, the door also doesn’t lock from the inside only from the outside so that made me feel quite unsafe, it was right in the middle of everything like the beach, the supermarket, pubs and restaurants and things like that but I would rather pay extra for one of the other hotels/ apartments located right...
