Quaint and quiet yet not far from the hubbub - such a great location! Reasonably priced, this boutique hotel has an elevator. The rooms are small, adequate, clean, and come equipped with A/C. The bathroom was updated and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Using GPS and trying to locate this hotel by car was nearly impossible. After THREE (3) tries with the car, we decided to use GPS and get directions by foot. We had a friend stay with the car while we ran around looking for the hotel.
So, do yourself a HUGE FAVOR - DO NOT DRIVE directly to the hotel. The streets/lanes are EXTREMELY narrow and not really wide enough for a standard sedan or mid-size SUV. It's a wonder we navigated the tiny streets/lanes without damaging our car. Park your car (if you have one) in the public parking garage by the river. It's a short walk away.
All in all, after we recovered from the stress of navigating, we had a wonderful time there with all of the restaurants one could possibly desire just minutes by foot away. The adjoining restaurant (not sure if it's part of the hotel) was mediocre, a little pricey, and the staff weren't very friendly. I wouldn't go there again.
The cathedral is a stones-throw-away and is visible from the rooftop bar. We would happily visit this...
Read moreI stayed here for two nights last week on a solo trip to Spain. The hotel is in a great location to all of the attractions. The cathedral is very close. ||I enjoyed that the hotel used to be a convent. That is pretty cool. The rooms were small|and simple. I was not really that comfortable with that but I did as asked. ||The staff was helpful in securing me a taxi on my day of departure. They also have a restaurant right next door which was very good. I had some tapas and the one was braised beef or pork I believe. It was so tender and...
