Utterly Perfect 😍||If you don't like lonnnnng, TMI personalized Emoji fuel reviews & do not wish to know the score, look away now....⚽️😜||I had stayed at a prior hotel that was not up to this lil'princess' standards & I could not fault this place. It is pitched PERFECTLY. ||Somehow they have managed to retain old stool charm (i can see my Nanna choosing this in the 1980's), yet update features & services to match that of a 5* corporate chain, all whilst retaining not Just a unique, boutique hotel feel, but an old skool family run back-in-the-day feel. It was reminiscent of my 80s childhood - & I mean that in the best possible way. ||No other establishment i have reviewed - hotel or restaurant, has managed to Amalgamate all of these different 'feels' effectively. One usually sacrifices 5* (chain led, corporate) facilities to get a family run feel, or vice versa, for example. ||The location is UNBEATABLE.|You are legit RIGHT ON the square.|You can see the famous tower from your window!||Firstly, the dream team on reception. I arrived Fri 8th August & was met my such warmth. sad i can't remember their names. Pure mum & dad vibes, as if entering their home. Very clear they had been colleagues for a long time & had a deep love & pride in their establishment. My previous hotel had a RUBBISH welcome, & as a solo traveller & someone used to exuberant USA hotel welcomes, this is important to me & I shall always drop you a point if reception are functional & performative instead of empathetic, intuitive & VERY warm. If I was in charge of leisure & tourism for one day, I would rid the industry of anyone in a customer facing role who would not receive above 90% on an EI test & doesn't absolutely LOVE people.||Such a beautiful smell when entering the hotel too!||The rooftop pool is an absolute joy.|BIG ENOUGH TO EXCERCISE!!!|(No pool in central seville is big enough for this- trust me, I ckd them all!) But obviously get there early to do this before all the lovely families arrive.|You can see the cathedral from the pool.|Baking hot Aug sun to sunbathe |Shade if needed.|Gorgeous rooftop bar with friendly service.|The kids splashing & having fun, friendly chatty people, honestly reminded me of childhood family holidays.||My room was big enough with lovely old skool decor. Some may complain about this. But for me it added to its charm. Its in the old town. Not the place for soulless, modern corporate decor. Shower nice & warm. Room very clean. ||Do pls ask for your free sparkling wine if hotels. Com gold tier booker. Another silly review is angry it wasn't in their room. They give you a bar token to keep it chill. Otherwise, ever think of using your words & asking?🙄🤷♀️🤣)||The best view of the square from my Juliet balcony. Just So pretty. Tea/coffee facilities. ||One downside.|One staff member the hotel needs to address;||Girl (20-30s) on sat 9 Aug AM/lunch needs awareness training of neurodiversities & just better customer service in general.| Completely opposite to the older duo the night before (who then were back on 9th eve when I left). I had clearly forgot my room number when locking myself out - TOLD HER I prob had the room number wrong - then proceeded to argue with me that my room DID have a third bed. (It didn't - id just come from it lil'miss gaslight!🤷♀️🙄🤔!). She was more interested in trying to argue her point to me than helping me which really got my goat. She let the hotel down in this way, & she needs better training and to cherish every customer. A smile wouldn't go and mess as well and was very clearly one of those people who shouldn't be working in hospitality, because there's not a genuine love for people there. Maybe she had a bad day - that's all I can hope||I came here solo to learn lines as a mummy me time before a job, but i really want to return with my then almost 5 yr old & my co-parent next August. It felt like home, I miss it already & I simply need to return! Seville itself a hidden gem, just so so stunning. Can't believe all the fuss is made about Barcelona & Madrid - this poos all over both & even Paris, as regards beauty at every turn.||Have a word with this staff member; and this would make this place my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in!|😍😍😍||Apologies for any typos, crazy word switch outs etc from the voice to text software and my being too lazy to correct them. It's the only way I can do anything as a busy single...
Read moreI would recommend this hotel to travelers but warn them of possibly facing a level of unprofessionalism if there is miscommunication. Also, if WiFi is important to you make sure you tell the staff to avoid this scenario discussed below. Please don’t let the veneer of this hotel fool you.
I was looking forward to ending my last day in Andalusia back in Seville where I spent the beginning of my travels. I booked this nice hotel in City Center since I spent most of my time in Triana, Seville as well as other cities in the beginning of my travels. Unfortunately, the last day before my trek back to the States didn’t go as planned. After having an amazing last day out and ending my trip on a high note; I had some complications with my flight booking. When I asked the man at the front desk about the wifi; he asked me my room number and then replied “oh it doesn’t work there, sorry” and I replied they should say poor Wi-Fi service in some of the rooms on the booking or let guest know they have poor wifi service in their room. I’m not sure if it was a communication problem or not with the front desk man but I found him to be extremely unprofessional. After I came back down to ask him to book a taxi for the airport. He insulted me by using foul language in Spanish as I walked toward the seating area; he assumed I wouldn’t understand as I sat down. Mind you, I only went there because I knew the wifi worked there and had maximized my data on my cell plan for the day mainly with dealing with resolving my flight booking problems. I also needed to spend time awake since I knew I had to adjust my time to acclimate back to six hours behind. As I sat to try and salvage what now was the end of my horrible day by looking at blurry photos of my skydiving from earlier that day. This same front desk man continued to be unprofessional and make the same remarks amongst his colleagues. Implying, “I wanted to download photos and that is why I needed the wifi and then continued to say I’m only here for one night and he was glad as he replied in Spanish goodbye, see you, and continued using foul language. I cringed and bared through the unprofessionalism as I watched a work related courses online. I can understand that language barriers occur every once in a while but this level of unprofessionalism in hospitality is unacceptable. Spanish may not be my first language but I know enough as do other guest , to know when someone is calling you foul names. Aside from the fact that I got a one sentence reply with no resolution or suggestions. This was definitely not how I wanted to end my nine day vacation in Spain let alone in one my favorite cities I visited twice.

The rooms are quite small, but overall, I’d definitely choose this hotel again.||Review:|I arrived at the hotel using Cabify, which is similar to Uber. You can also use Uber or Bolt, but on a Saturday afternoon, it was quite difficult to get a ride from the airport—after multiple cancellations, I waited about 40 minutes before finally getting a Cabify. The ride to the hotel took 30 minutes and cost €25.||Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. The hotel is old but charming, with a perfect location next to the cathedral. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and bars. If you walk about 10 minutes away from the main tourist area, you’ll find many local restaurants that are both cheaper and serve better food.||I booked the cheapest room, which was extremely small—there wasn’t enough space to keep a suitcase open. Still, the room was clean. I didn’t use the Wi-Fi, so I can’t comment on that.||The rooftop is a highlight of the hotel, offering fantastic views of the cathedral. There’s a designated area for hotel guests that includes a small pool, and another section open to the public. The rooftop bar has great service, and the prices were reasonable.||Breakfast at the hotel was excellent—fresh, varied, and...
