The best tapas in Seville!
We have travelled many countries over the last few years and luckily the majority of our restaurant experiences have been positive, usually thanks to other reviews! However, we very rarely eat at the same place twice as we like to explore as many places as possible.
We ate here twice due to how good the food, service and atmosphere was!! We turned up as a group of 7 having not booked, expecting to be turned away as it looked busy, but we were seated within 5-8 minutes.
The menu is huge with so much choice and you can order each tapas dish in three different sizes depending on how many of you would eat each dish. The prices are about 50% of what you could expect to pay in London for example - on the first visit we had 15 dishes, 3 jugs of incredible sangria and other drinks and the bill wasn't quite €140 - considering the quality of food, we thought this to be sublime value for money.
Some of our favourite dishes included the brie, pork shoulder, mixed croquettes, ratatouille and the spinach and chickpeas. Realistically, we can't fault any of the dishes we had, across veggie, pork, chicken, fish and the cheese dishes too.
Finally, the service was brilliant throughout - staff were friendly, attentive and polite. We gladly left a generous tip which was very well deserved.
Would highly recommend and would return if visiting...
Read moreThis restaurant displayed the worst customer service I have ever experienced . My partner and I ordered 5 tapas plates and sangria. Every plate arrived, apart from the sirloin pork with whiskey sauce. I took a video of the food that was brought to us. One of the servers brought us a dish that was not ours and we told him immediately. Once we had finished our 4 plates, we asked one of the servers where our last plate was and she said it was on the way. We asked two more times and another server said it was already served to us but it was not. A man who looked like the floor manager then brought us a dish and asked us “Is this what you ordered, sirloin pork with whiskey sauce?” and we said yes, then he took the dish back. 40 minutes had passed and we still had not received the dish and we decided that we could not wait any longer. We asked for the bill and for the waiter to remove the dish that did not arrive. The same man who looked like the floor manager started to argue with us, telling us the dish was brought to us when IN FACT, IT WAS NOT. I showed him the video that I took, which was evidence of what was served to us and there was no sirloin pork in the video. He then tried to claim it was brought later. As we were sat directly under a cctv camera, I strongly suggest whoever is in charge to look at what was brought to us. No apology was...
Read moreI visited this tapas restaurant in Seville and was disappointed with the service. The manager who seated us was friendly, but from there, things went downhill. Our server kept interrupting our drink order to greet people at the door, making me repeat it multiple times. Then he walked off with the menu before taking our food order, so I had to call someone back to get it again.
When I ordered, he was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked if they had patatas bravas, and he just snapped “no.” When I asked if they had anything similar, he barked “no” again. No recommendations, no effort to help.
The food was fine, nothing special- but our last dish took so long we assumed they had forgotten it. When it finally arrived, the server put it on the table without a word. No apology, no explanation—just “okay” before walking off.
We paid the bill to a polite woman, but overall, the service was inattentive and rude. I know Spanish customer service can be laid-back, but this felt like we were an inconvenience. With so many great tapas spots in Seville, I wouldn’t bother...
