This is a long overdue review for the BEST luxury hotel in Valencia! What a memorable hospitality and amazing staff, in literally every department in this stunningly decorated hotel in the heart of Valencia. They have all ensured a service perfection that not only met our expectations, but completely exceeded them. We have not experienced such caring and heartfelt service and such attention to details like at this hotel. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
We arrived well past midnight on 21 July due to our flight being delayed. But as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Romy with her huge smile and lovely personality. Although we hardly ever saw them, the Housekeeping team did a fantastic job. Our room was beautiful, super comfortable and was always cleaned to perfection. When we checked in to our room, the pre-ordered bottle of Champagne was already in the room as planned, well-chilled and ready for us to celebrate my birthday.
The morning after, we headed down for breakfast and were served by Andrea and Valéry. Fantastic service from both, very helpful, attentive and courteous. Furthermore, to my pleasant surprise, since it was my birthday, Valéry arranged a birthday cake with a candle for me after breakfast. We came back to the hotel for a super late lunch at La Perfuméria, since we could not find anything suitable to our tastes in the city at around 3 PM. We were welcomed by the charming restaurant manager, Carlos, who also served us lunch with Andrea. He gave us fantastic recommendations and we took the smoked beef tartar, amongst others, which was just amazing! Later on in the evening, upon returning to the hotel from dinner, we also received a personalised birthday card and a bottle of Cava, kindly organised by Romy - compliments from the hotel. WOW! This much attention to detail and care really touched my heart. Thank you very much - she is definitely a huge asset to the company.
We also visited the bar on several occasions, where we learnt about the Valencian cocktail, Agua de Valencia, from Gino, the bartender. Since he comes from Belgium, where we come from, we had a nice chat with him. All his cocktail creations were top notch!
All-in-all, we had an amazing stay at this hotel. It is rare nowadays where a five-star hotel is not just architecturally beautiful, but the staff's efforts in delivering an ultra-personalised service to ensure guests' expectations are met and exceeded are just beyond anything. I am sure it is also thanks to the excellent management and the training and care they gave to their staff - they all look so happy to be working there.

This is a beautiful property. 1- the building itself is gorgeous, outside and inside. 2 - the location is unbeatable: right in the center of the old València. 3 - THE staff: professional, attentive (they know how to make you feel welcome at anytime of the day and always available - thank you reception team) and adorable! Special mention to the breakfast team ladies (sorry guys) as they help you start your day in a such positive way, with the right energy! Great service, very efficient. We laughed a lot. The housekeeping team is just a dream: discreet, always with a smile and the hello much appreciated. Our room felt always fresh and new after they performed their magic. Well done. 4 - the bar is very cozy, not huge, with great cocktails and atmosphere. Nice dinner at the restaurant with high quality cuisine and excellent wine, but the service could be improved a little bit. The breakfast is another jewel of the establishment. All you need to start your day is there: the team - yes again, see above - the food, fantastic and organic, with great choices, and an original menu served in a relaxing atmosphere, very comfortable. Perfect. 5 - The design of the property is original and refined, and luxuriously decorated throughout. It is just a delight to the eyes. Our room was beautiful and very well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom elegant and very spacious. The lobby is gorgeous and the luminous central staircase leads to an impressive rooftop terrace with quite a view of the surroundings: perfect for a drink. 6 - WiFi works flawlessly (we had some zoom work sessions with no issue at all), and we really appreciated how everything runs smoothly in this hotel.

Read moreI booked the "presidential suite" and a second room for one night. We like to sleep in a cool room and set the thermostat for 18 C (or 65 F) and went to bed. I could not sleep because the suite would not cool below 23 C (or 73 F). Called the front desk several times at 1am, no one answered. Finally got a call back and someone came up and said they would fix the problem on the computer. The temp never changed from 23 C, and I hardly slept the entire night.||The next morning I explained what happened to the front desk manager, who was not the least bit sympathetic and said something about the system can't cool because the outside temperature was not warm enough regardless of the temperature of the room. This made no sense to me since the hotel is only a few years old and the system seemed to be a state of the art and computer driven. In the hundreds of hotels I have been in, I never heard of a HVAC system that didn't adjust based on the temperature in the room regardless of the exterior temperature! ||While nothing could make up for a lost night of sleep while on vacation, as a matter of principal, I ask the front desk manager to make an adjustment to our bill, to which she said she would talk to the hotel manager. We proceeded to go out for the day. When we returned to get our luggage and leave for our train, I asked the front desk what was the result of the conversation with the hotel manager and was told there was no record of anything.
